Today is the last day of this month. The next month, of May 2026 is important for me. I am not sure I can explain how important it is for me, because a childhood dream of mine will take shape in May.
I am stepping out of my work shoes and entering a place where I am free. From student to doctor, doctor to clinician, clinician to scientist, and now finally, clinical-scientist to author.
It reminds me of this quote - “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” - Maya Angelou
And just like that, I receive this message from my audiobook narrator artist today morning. It felt good see that first "review" from someone who has gone through it all. And it made me happy.
My first book, the non-fiction from @HarperCollinsIN will release next week. I hope you've all had the chance to pre-book it, so that you can make my stories yours too. Stories that will stay with you long after you finish that last page.
This is the publisher's press release on my book:
harpercollins.co.in/press-release/…
This is a preview discussion of the book from an independent source:
theindianbookclub.com/readers-point/…
This is where you can pre-order my book:
amazon.in/Liver-Doctor-S…
Finally its begining. There will be further announcements on author interactions and book signing sessions from @HarperCollinsIN. I hope we can meet at the time. Kochi, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and possibly Mumbai in the works. Thanks again!

Kal ka mujhe thoda doubtful lag raha hai 😉 😀 🤗 😘

@DaveSambali sometimes I get a similar excuse from people who let go completely of their discipline during the weekends and drink like there's no tomorrow

Calves have shaped up nicely.
3 things that works really well to grow them.
2 of them are completely in your control.
Training - You can and you should train them at least 2x a week and it can handle a lot of stress so don't be afraid to add sufficient volume eventually.
Just 2 variants and 2-4 good quality sets done over months and years will help your calves grow immensely.
Nutrition - If you are not going to eat enough protein and adequate calories, forget getting stronger or growing any muscle including your calves.
The 3rd variable which is not in your control is your genetics. You can't do much about it but what you can do is put in crazy amount of hard work and get the results which are bound to show up.
I use standing calf raises on a smith machine as my primary calf building movement. I perform a total of 4-8 sets in a week divided across 2 days where I end up doing at least 12-15 reps with sufficiently heavy weight.
This can be a reference post for you to fix what's not going right with your training. Ensure proper form, no ego lifting, controlled motion from point A to point B and you are good to go.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Tejas Kulkarni, founder of TSA TEKK @TsaTekk
I’ve spent nearly a decade studying protein, nutrition, exercise science, biomechanics, and physiology academically, with a bachelor’s from Sheffield Hallam University and master’s from the University of Glasgow.
I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Sports, Exercise and Nutrition Science, focused on blood markers for athlete workload and health.
I started TSA TEKK to build what I wanted to see more of: tasty, convenient products with genuinely good nutritional value, backed by real science and a vision to innovate.
Since January 2025, I’ve been building a startup and pursuing a PhD at the same time.
Sometimes I speak slightly beyond my life and work experience.
But I’ve learned that growth often happens at the intersection of reality and delusion.
And one of the best things I’ve experienced is that If you work hard with the right intent, strangers on the internet will support you.

People utter nonsense in reels, just saw a vidoe of a someone on insta who started the video like this " people are losing their mind on how am I holding this passport (Indian passport with the cancelled punch) and showing her Canadian passport.
She says, I understand people haven't gone through the process so let me explain you.
She goes on to say that the only reason she is holding the old cancelled Indian passport is because "it has active visas" till 2036 so she can still keep it, she can't use it for immigration purposes and whenever she has to go she has to carry her Indian passport with Canadian passport 💀
No sweetie, the visas are linked to your citizenship, you can't use visa on Indian passport with Canadian passport 🤣 The only reason you are holding the old passport is because that's the standard procedure they cancel the passport and return.

@Kenu73 They are the worse dude. Gotta bad experience with them too.

Makemytrip has to be most pathetic OTA for booking international flights. I happen to book a flight, delta rescheduled it in such a way that the transit flight will be missed, checked with Delta and they said even though the flight is non refundable and on restrictive fare, you are allowed to reschedule once for free but the request has to come from MMT
They have the dumbest customer service bot, even a 12th pass can create a better AI bot. Called @makemytripcare and the bot wont connect to human and just respond that your flights is ineligible for reschedule.
Sent them a DM on X, they responded, arranged a call and the agent promised an alternative flight, said she will also send me a DM for a confirmation which I did but its been more than a week, no proper response. No resolution or any help.
They got to have one of the worst customer care @makemytrip and probably the last time I am using their services.

Just saw someone on reel saying only with 3 documents, We can get you US visa.
That was fine, but what killed me was Aadhar card being one of the docs 🤣🤣
Aadhar card like wtf! What's up with these illiterate folks using aadhar card as some next level tool. Aadhar card is ideally never required for any visa be it USA, all it does is proves address in cases where there's jurisdiction.

🇩🇪Absolute masterclass in road discipline on the German Autobahn!
When traffic comes to a standstill, drivers instantly shift left and right to create a Rettungsgasse, a crystal-clear emergency corridor right down the middle, so ambulances, fire trucks, and rescue vehicles can fly through at full speed. It’s the law in Germany and Austria, and it literally saves lives. This is how you do it!

MacBook Neo vs iPad… this is actually tougher than it should be 🤔 💻 MacBook Neo = full macOS, better for real work, multitasking, file management 📱 iPad = more powerful chip, insanely versatile, Apple Pencil + touch-first experience ⚖️ Both can do 90% of the same things… it’s that last 10% that decides it If you had to pick ONE… what are you choosing and what are you using it for? 👇

Something weird is happening to apps right now.
You open something you've used for years and it feels... off. Not broken exactly. More like the app forgot what it was trying to be.
Here's why. Three different teams each shipped their own AI feature into the same product. One built a chatbot. One added auto-generated summaries. One dropped smart suggestions into a sidebar somewhere. Each team had their own roadmap, their own launch date, their own success metrics. Nobody asked what it would feel like when a real person hit all three at once.
So now the chatbot is cheerful, the summaries are dry, and the suggestions feel like they came from a completely different app. Which, honestly, they kind of did.
Google did this in public. They replaced Assistant with Gemini — supposedly smarter, but it couldn't handle basic stuff like turning on your lights. The AI got better. The experience got worse. Two different teams optimizing for two different things, and the user caught the seam.
This keeps happening because teams measure features, not experiences. Every individual AI feature passes its review. But nobody reviews what the whole product feels like anymore.
The problem was never "should we add AI." It was "who's designing the whole thing."
