@Project_Boro I wouldn’t like to be in EFL’s shoes here. How do they deal with it? Ideally, they’d be replaced by 7th placed club, but impossible with season ending and player on holiday. Must be more than financial.

The EFL can’t afford not only our two legged semi-final, but potentially the richest game in domestic football, brought into disrepute. If Saints beat us and then win at Wembley, and are then found to be guilty, it taints the playoff final and the two teams they beat on route.
