Explain it to me like I'm 5: Cuba has significant natural wealth -- sugar, tobacco, nickel. American corporations extracted that wealth while ordinary Cubans lived in poverty. Cubans revolute and kick the U.S. out. The U.S. places a 67-year embargo on them, forcing them into deeper poverty.Then tightens it with a specific embargo on oil. Now threatens military action if Cuba doesn't let us back in "to help the Cuban people." If we want to help them, why don't we start by lifting the embargo?

I am not familiar with many details of SA politics, but I believe at the root of all the hatred indoctrination in SA are Marxists who organize and pay for it. The mental illness of Marxism turns men into monsters capable of anything. The murderous French Terror, the Red Terror in the Soviet Union, the Khmer Rouge, the current rulers of SA…they all have the same source.

This account (a few like this floating around) is demanding that all "foreigners" (clearly meaning Afrikaners and Whites) must be forced out of the country by 30 June. These aren't harmless rants; we've seen how posts like this ignite real violence on the ground. Protect your family. Don't dismiss the hate. Recognize it for what it is.

The entire ancient world, including Africans, enslaved everybody. How about forgiveness as the solution to this? There is no European or American who owns another human being. And unless the Democrats cancel the US Constitution , the US Constitution bans it. Slavery is still practiced in parts of the Muslim world.

What if the west isn't the villain they told you it was? We’ve spent years accepting accusations about racism, intolerance, and slavery without challenging the bigger historical reality: The societies most condemned today are also the ones that led the world in ending slavery, expanding rights, and building the most tolerant nations on earth. That’s the conversation nobody wants to have.

When do the North African states pay for taking Europeans as slaves? How about the Indians, who enslaved each other in North America, and white captives? And the African kingdoms who sold their defeated enemies into slavery? And the Romans, who did the same? Where do we all find justice?

So I am trying to understand the logic - step 1 - create slavery , build your empire , plunder wealth , torcher and kill slaves Step 2 - abandon slavery , abandon colonies , and no substantial financial repatriation for blundering for centuries. Step 3- seek for a pat on the back for step 2.

While pushing for every other demographic, they make it incredibly difficult for minority South African families facing relentless violence and farm attacks to even reach appointments or get their cases heard. We've seen this pattern up close. Flights are canceled days before, leaving some stranded with nothing. Others remain in limbo for months on end. Many have to jump from one province to another for appointments. There's no compassion if it's selective. Minority South Africans deserve the same fair chance at safety as anyone else fleeing persecution. Time for real consistency in how these programs are applied.

My travel companions can mock, but I have traveled so many millions of miles in my life that I always have a ready to go-bag with healthy snacks, fruit, protein powder, and instant bone broth and coffee. Also salt and pepper. I can survive for days (will be extremely 😾 grumpy).
