@POTUS @VP An amendment to the Judiciary Act of 1789 could explicitly give original jurisdiction in cases filed against the President or any Executive Agency to the Supreme Court alone. This would end the tyranny of District Courts. Cc @SpeakerJohnson @LeaderJohnThune

@TheGuyOverThere @Unfilte90291535 @TechOperator The Achilles Heel of EVs is still the battery. They are expensive, heavy, lose capacity over the lifecycle of the car. The Chinese makers have shown some promise- if it proves to be durable and safe enough for the US market.

@Unfilte90291535 @TechOperator I would buy a Tesla if they made an SUV. They have enough range for long trips, given that I stop for meals and restroom breaks anyway.

@WBRacing45 @Unfilte90291535 @TechOperator If you live in many states you will be paying $200+ every year at registration. And Congress is pushing a Federal annual tax of $150 every year. So there is an extra $350 a year or more .

I just did a 400 mile road trip this weekend. Stopped once for 5 mins, which was done charging before I came back in from using the restroom and the other one was about 10 mins stop, also done by the time I got back from inside grabbing some snacks with the family and using the restroom. The horror in having to charge on the road for the 2-3 road trips I’ll do a year while the other 350ish days a year I’m charging from my garage for about $20ish a month per Tesla 😉 On average it takes about 7-8 mins to leave the road, pay at the pump, pump the gas and leave to get back on the road. Most people fill up on average once a week, so that’s 52 weeks worth of stops at 7-8 mins a pop, which means that you’ll spend around 6-7 hours on average at a gas pump each year in the cold and heat.

You lost me at “slow traffic jam means heater use eats your battery”. You’ve never driven a Tesla have you? Tesla owners know that slow traffic means stretching your range not eating it. And we also know that our heaters are extraordinarily efficient heat pumps run by waste heat.

@LouisWei8 @Unfilte90291535 @TechOperator What it seems like happens in these type of posts is people who live in less densely populated areas point out the very real weakness of the charging and the people who live in more dense areas cluelessly dismiss them.

@Unfilte90291535 @TechOperator For people like this my response is... Wow what a use case, sucky to be you have to live that and good luck with your hybrid truck. Tesla is built for the mass, not for some 0.01% edge case, there will always be supply for that demand but that ain't Tesla.

@TechOperator Depends on where you go, what the weather is like, terrain and traffic. The ranges reported are generally overly optimistic. They are not based on how people actually drive. Do 75 (or more) on the Interstate and you will never see the ranges advertised.

HOA Karen got caught red-handed filming this dude’s FENCED backyard like it’s national security footage 📹🏡 Bro out here dropping ‘HOA, y’all gotta be stopped’ while defending his own property 😭 Peak 2026 suburban warfare. Next up: fines for uneven grass blades and Ring cams pointed at the grill. HOAs = neighborhood communism with worse landscaping and maximum nosiness.

@JohnLeFevre I am pretty sure data centers can be made less water intensive. I am also sure there is a money to be made finding out how.

California almond farmers use 1.5 trillion gallons of water per year - 8x more than all US data centers combined. And golf courses use 500 billion gallons of water. This isn’t environmentalism; it’s propaganda. Are green fairways and almond exports more important than space exploration and cancer research?

John LeFevre@JohnLeFevre

5 gallons of water = → $132 from data centers → 2¢ from almonds One powers AI, auto safety, space exploration, medical research, banking, and innovation. The other is a mostly exported (75%) snack from drought-prone California fields. Resource allocation in one chart.

The President must be a natural-born citizen. Why stop there. Should foreigners or foreign-born be allowed to be in positions of power like Congress, Governors, or god-forbid our Judges - YES or NO?

No. Not a Tesla fan but it has nothing to do with his personal political views. I strongly dislike glass roofs, frameless door glass, and those bland interiors. Also do not like gigacasting - which makes insurance expensive. This @SUBARU_CORP Trailseeker is more to my liking. e-Outback in the EU.

@aaronjcash @scottbuscemi More EVs mean more places to charge. WalMart is rolling out a national EV charging network as is Ionna. Both will take a lot of pressure off of the Tesla Superchargers. I also pay @TeslaCharging a monthly fee for lower rates.

@RonDeSantis I asked Grok where the money comes from for highways. Federal fuel tax (Highway Trust Fund) covers 12–15%. State fuel taxes & related fees ~25–40% , while the rest comes from general funds, bonds, tolls, property taxes, and other sources. Otherwise, this is a money grab.
