This is how the EU/UK now regulates social media: 🤐 Offer CEOs secret deals to censor dissent. 🚨 If they refuse, open criminal cases against them. 😑 When people push back, say it's "all for the children". 🎭 "Protecting children" has become the standard legal/PR cover.

🚨SEO agencies are going to lose their minds. Someone just open sourced a tool that audits your entire website for AI search engines -- ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews. No Semrush. No Ahrefs. No $2K-$12K/month agency retainers. It's called GEO-SEO Claude. Here's what this thing actually does: → Scores your content for AI citation readiness (optimal passages are 134-167 words) → Scans your robots.txt for 14+ AI crawlers -- GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and more → Tracks brand mentions across YouTube, Reddit, Wikipedia, LinkedIn, and 7+ platforms → Generates the llms.txt standard file so AI crawlers actually understand your site → Spits out professional PDF reports with score gauges, bar charts, and prioritized action plans Here's the wildest part: Only 11% of domains get cited by both ChatGPT AND Google AI Overviews for the same query. This tool tells you exactly why you're not in that 11% -- and how to fix it. GEO agencies charge $2K-$12K/month for this exact audit workflow. This is free. 100% Open Source. 3.9K+ stars on GitHub. The most interesting read of the week was @Hobo_Web's article on his agentic SEO solution. hobo-web.co.uk/codename-agenc… So the SEO existential crisis didn't pop in form nowhere. It's a combo of things I've been seeing the past 2-3 weeks and this one is definitely takes the cake.

@tarasshyn @jakezward It takes Google much longer to complete indexation of Javascript-powered websites, especially if they run on CSR, despite them claiming all is ok, the sky is blue and colourful

Google is doing it again — making itself the most cited source in AI Mode 🙃 We saw the same thing happen with AI Overviews last year, and now AI Mode is following the same pattern. What’s even more interesting is that Google’s self-citation rate in AI Mode has tripled in less than a year. 📌 Read all the insights: seranking.com/blog/google-li…

@brodieseo @martinpanayotov +1 on Google taking action on this. It can be a real pain to submit each of the different individual child sitemaps, especially if you have 20+

SEO Tip: don't just submit the sitemap index file in Google Search Console, you'll need to submit all important sitemaps individually also. When I get access to a client's GSC, often for very large sites, I unfortunately don't always have access to the indexing data that I need from the get-go. A core reason for this is when only the sitemap index file has been submitted, and not the individual sitemaps for core parts of a site e.g. products, categories, articles, guides etc. This approach effectively applies to all types of sites. Whether it be news publishers (where articles are often grouped within sitemaps by date), eCommerce sites, marketplaces, or sites of any kind. When you think about large sites that are maxing out on the number of pages that they're squishing into a sitemap (50K is the limit), you're losing a great deal of insight along the way, especially if you're only able to view page indexing for millions of URLs at a time. I actually think that Google should really do this automatically when sitemaps are detected within the index, due to the usefulness of the reporting, but I do also understand that it does require input from the site owner in the first instance. If you haven't added your sitemaps to GSC in this way yet, get it over and done with and make the change now. If you end up working with someone in a technical SEO engagement, they will be thankful that you did (if they understand the importance of this reporting view).

I helped a consulting client who owns an agency do an ROI forecast for a potential client last week.. A $5,000/mo SEO package on a min. 6 month contract, site gets 10,000 visits/mo currently with a 2% conversion rate and $1,000 average order value. That's $200,000/mo revenue baseline. Over 6 months of SEO work, we project growing traffic by ~50% to 15,000/mo. = $102,000 in additional incremental revenue over those 6 months. = $300,000/mo ongoing revenue after. = $35,000 total SEO cost for $202,000+ MINIMUM additional revenue. That's a 477% ROI on the conservative estimate, and it compounds, the traffic doesn't disappear when you stop paying like it does with ads. This is the pitch that wins clientsm not "we'll improve your rankings and get you on page one" - Show them the money...

I ranked #1 on Google with NotebookLM in 24 hours… Here’s how👇 Everyone is using AI wrong. They write blog posts. They pray. They cry when it doesn’t rank. NotebookLM just turned into a full AI SEO machine. Google gave it 4x context. 6x memory. Deep research. Live web data. Connected to Gemini 3. This is not a notes app anymore. This is an SEO weapon. Here’s the exact step-by-step I’m using to rank for AI SEO keywords: 1️⃣ Deep Research Paste this: “Fetch high authority sources on [your keyword]. Organize top keywords, search intent, and content gaps into a table.” Boom. It finds ranking pages. Pulls FAQs. Shows gaps. No guessing. 2️⃣ Build Keyword Clusters Prompt: “Create a data table of all relevant keywords, search volume, intent type, and competitor titles.” Now you see: What to target. What to ignore. Where the money is. 3️⃣ Create SEO Outline Prompt: “Generate SEO content outline using the table above. Add headings, internal links, and word count suggestions.” It builds a proven structure. Based on pages already ranking. 4️⃣ Write Data-Backed Draft Prompt: “Turn this outline into a complete SEO draft with citations, FAQ schema, and meta description.” No fluff. No hallucinations. Just ranked content. 5️⃣ Repurpose for Traffic Prompt: “Turn this article into a LinkedIn slide deck and YouTube infographic.” One blog = 5 assets. This is how we’re growing the AI Profit Boardroom daily. Old SEO = 10 tabs open. New AI SEO = 1 workflow. System > random prompts. Most people won’t do this. They’ll still copy-paste between tools like it’s 2014. If you actually run this once, you’ll never go back. P.S. Want my exact NotebookLM prompt vault, 200+ AI SEO prompts, full SOPs, backlink system, content templates, keyword cluster sheets, repurposing frameworks, and FREE lifetime AI SEO coaching? Comment AI and I’ll send everything over.

There's a FREE Chrome extension that lets you see EXACTLY what Google shows for your keywords in any country, city, or language.. without your personal search history, location, or cookies contaminating the results. It's called SEO Search Simulator by @nightwatch_io It runs a completely clean, unpersonalised Google search and shows you the REAL results. You can use it to: - Check your actual rankings from your target customer's location, not yours. - Compare SERPs across different countries for the same keyword. - Spot local pack and SERP feature differences by city. - Monitor whether your rankings are real or just Google showing you what you want to see. Every SEO tool shows you estimated rankings pulled from APIs. This extension shows you the ACTUAL Google search results page, exactly as a real user would see it, from any location in the world.
