Everyone is chasing the viral moment, as they think that's how to grow an account's following. But the accounts that win are the ones that stack tiny moments of value over time and grow that 1% weekly. Consistency will always beat random virality.

you want fast followers or real community? fast: points, giveaways, kol shoutouts. gets you 10k followers who ghost after airdrop. real: user interviews, organic content, actual product value. gets you 1k followers who defend your project in bear markets. most projects choose fast then cry about low retention.

Steal this from me. Copy it as it is. This crypto marketing wiki has been refined over the years as I gained experience in the space. Reply to this tweet with anything, and I will DM you a link to full access to this Notion board. Copy it. Improvise it. Make it yours. I don't care. What I care about is that hopefully it helps.

🫢Most conference booths look the same. Stickers. T-shirts. Discounts nobody uses. When we were preparing our booth for @Zebu_live, we didn’t want to be another forgettable stand. So we did something completely different 👇

Monad’s marketing was glorious. They tapped into Kaito’s InfoFi engine and with its lore they turned into social warfare.
Months of yapping, leaderboard climbing, speculation, testnet, grinding at discord, chaos. Then the cards dropped. Suddenly everyone wanted one. From the lore of never coming mainnet to memes, cosplays the whole community turned into a storyline.
Monad became culture. And that’s the thing ,people actually had fun. No data, no numbers, no farming fatigue. Just joy, and mystery. In a space obsessed with data and dopamine and farming, Monad reminded us why we fell in love with Web3 in the first place.

Gonna piss some founders off with this one: Your social media manager doesn’t owe you their face. Their job is to build the stage, not perform on it. You want a face? Use yours.

why kalshi badges look good: > the badges are just a cherry on top of their ambassador program > they didn’t try to go viral through ‘em > their brand awareness is context-rich (times square billboard, ‘kalshi vs polymarket’ ugc = association to a prediction market)

in this industry, many things are called “marketing” which, in fact, are not marketing at all a simple example: random accounts tweeting every deranged thought that is coming out of their minds while “promoting” a brand through a badge. > works great if a company has figured out every step of a funnel (kalshi) > achieves nothing if storytelling, quality AND on-brand mindshare, pmf and ux are not properly delivered (best case scenario you'll be remembered as a mysterious logo)

Pro tip to a better X experience: Unfollow people who talk about how to grow on X. Then, follow people who talk about interesting things. Then talk about interesting things yourself. Profit.

After reviewing more than 300 profiles yesterday, I’ve put out some notes that might help you improve your profile > Personal brand name
Keep it unique, short and easy to remember. If your name is too long, people will forget you. Consider adding something like hl, xbt, or 0x to your handle for aura farming > PFP
Use an NFT or a cute art. People love to interact more with these kinds of PFPs they feel friend than human pfp > Banner
This can either showcase another signature of your brand or simply be a clean colour. These can make you look more professional > Follow count
Only follow people who inspire you, who you admire or who are your friends. Avoid following everyone. A 1/ 2 follower to following ratio is need, it helps your account’s credibility and healthier > Bio
Keep it short and unique. Don’t include project tags unless you actually work for them. Avoid using icons and skip these words such as yapper, content creator, influencer, or DM for work or links If there’s want people focus, make it your pinned post instead Best regards
