The calculation the Iranians made was that they could withstand the military pain longer than Trump could withstand the economic pain, and they were right.

Yes. Jews were ethnically cleansed from the Arab world following 1948, and they should have the right to return to these countries. People should acknowledge this just as they acknowledge the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in 1948.

@IhabHassane Do all the Jews who were kicked out of Arab countries following 1948 also have a right to return to their homes and property?

With the help of medical students in Gaza, I am introducing a new initiative that is very dear to my heart. To help train new doctors to alleviate the health crisis in the Strip Before the war, Gaza was already facing a healthcare crisis: too few doctors for too many patients. Today, it is catastrophic. Hospitals have been bombed. Medical staff have been killed, displaced, or forced to flee. An entire generation of patients now has no one left to treat them. The numbers are devastating: Gaza has lost a significant portion of its already-stretched medical workforce at the exact moment its people need it most. Wounds go untreated. Chronic conditions go unmanaged. Children are born into a system that no longer exists. But five young people in Gaza are still fighting to change that. Rofaida, Eman, Abdullah, Manare, and Maram are medical and nursing students who have survived bombardment, displacement, and loss — and are still showing up to study. They are not just students. They are Gaza's future healthcare system. Every tuition fee paid is a future clinic opened, a future ward staffed, a future life saved. Gaza does not just need aid today. It needs doctors tomorrow. This is how you help build them. Donate generously. Lets build the next generation of doctors in Gaza together. gofundme.com/f/investing-in…

The tactics of the conflict in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran are linked when it comes to Israel’a current military doctrine that views air strikes as effective and use limited, slow, incremental ground operations that clear land that has been evacuated of people (and where the enemy usually left as well). Only in Iran, due to distance, is there no ground element. In both Gaza and Lebanon unprecedented and long wars have resulted in mixed results; while the IDF provides some details on numbers of strikes be targets and som assessment of enemy capabilities reduced; the overall strategic picture is that Hamas controls half of Gaza and all the civilians in Gaza; Hezbollah continues to control parts of Lebanon and has influence over the population, particularly Shi’ites. With the current controversy over the ceasefire it’s worth looking at what has happened The war between Israel and Hezbollah has gone on for many years; the most recent round appears to begin on March 2, 2026; but in reality it’s an extension of the one that began on Oct. 8, 2023 and escalated in September 2023. The ceasefire in November 2024 resulted in the IDF leaving the relatively small area along the border that it had cleared; but Israel kept up daily precision strikes on Hezbollah. What was the result? Despite belief among some that Hezbollah had lost some ~ 80 percent of its arsenal and thousands of fighters and most key commanders; the group re-emerged in March 2026 able to launch many rockets and drones and apparently well organized again; even though it is cut off from Iran due to the fall of Assad. A month and a week of new intense strikes result in new belief that it lost another ~ 1,000 fighters but the tactic of limited ground advance and Hezbollah leaving the south mostly leaves questions. Can endless precision airstrikes defeat it? Taking a buffer zone along the border and moving a million Lebanese northward, will it lead to any closure? It’s widely known that one can’t disarm a group from the air. The ground campaign is so slow that the enemy leaves. For instance, in 1978 and 1982 the IDF covered more ground in a day or two than since March 2. This slow incrementalism is a doctrine and tactic ; but where does it lead? Iran, Gaza and Lebanon are linked conflicts. They all show the same challenge and the results lack clarity on all fronts

Lebanon is the only COUNTRY that has not fired a single bullet this entire war, yet it is the only country currently getting bombed, and the country suffering the most (Lebanon ≠ Hezbollah)
