@ChipoloTM Does "the system cross-references your phone's movement" mean that if my phone isn't moving I won't get an alert? So if someone steals my camera bag I won't get an alert till I'm also moving?

Our alerts are designed to notify you if you leave an item behind, usually triggering within a minute or after you’ve moved a few hundred meters (e.g., reaching your car).
To prevent annoying false alerts caused by brief Bluetooth drops, the system cross-references your phone's movement and Wi-Fi connection before notifying you. This ensures that when your phone rings, it’s for a real reason.
A few things to keep in mind:
One-way only: Your phone tracks the Chipolo, but the Chipolo cannot alert you if you leave your phone behind.
Customization: Currently, the alert timing cannot be manually adjusted, but I’ve shared your feedback with our product team for future consideration!
Android vs. iOS: These details apply to Android users. For Apple users, these alerts are managed directly via the "Notify When Left Behind" feature in the Apple Find My app.
@ChipoloTM I'm in the process of switching from Tile to Chipolo, so far so good. I have a feature request: can you make the "Out of Range" alert kick in sooner? I use a Card in my camera bag and would like to be alerted if the bag is more than a few feet away.

@FedExHelp Never mind. Turns out when the status says "out for delivery" and "customer unavailable" it doesn't actually mean that. It means that the entity responsible for delivering to the premises is closed on the weekend. Not obvious at all.
