OpenAI bought OpenClaw Your initial gut reaction might be anger and rage, but I promise you are mistaken. This is a win for EVERYONE involved (including you): • OpenClaw remains open source • The team gets way more resources to build incredible products and advance the vision of OpenClaw • OpenAI gains an incredible builder (Peter Steinberger) • Get the biggest PR boost ever • They are finally viewed as 'Open' • Get millions of people signing up for expensive ChatGPT plans to plug into OpenClaw • Connect their name to the most powerful AI tool ever made • Peter Steinberger's entire bloodline never has to worry about money ever again OpenAI will NEVER close source OpenClaw or end the project. It would be brand suicide. They have no option but to keep it open source. Their play here is clear: incentivize using OpenAI models for OpenClaw. Get a massive reputation boost. Hire the smartest builder in AI. This will lead to WAY more revenue for OpenAI and even more importantly: gain the favor of the millions of people who adopted OpenClaw. This will be the biggest PR win in the history of AI and make Anthropic look like closed off walled garden authoritarians for banning people the last month. Expect faster OpenClaw acceleration, ChatGPT plans BUILT for OpenClaw, and an AI tool that will only continue to dominate the world. This is a win for everyone except Anthropic.
Sam Altman@sama

Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings. OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

7/ The wild part? You can combine these: Jetson + camera + local LLM = an AI agent with eyes that runs entirely offline. No cloud. No API costs. No data leaving your house. Privacy-first AI that actually DOES things in the physical world. That's the future. And it costs $300.

Your AI hates Whites & Asians, especially Chinese, heterosexuals and men. This is misanthropic and evil. Fix it. Frankly, I don’t think there is anything you can do to escape the inevitable irony of Anthropic ending up being Misanthropic. You were doomed to this fate when you chose your name. The Name of the Wind.

We’ve raised $30B in funding at a $380B post-money valuation. This investment will help us deepen our research, continue to innovate in products, and ensure we have the resources to power our infrastructure expansion as we make Claude available everywhere our customers are.

vibe coded The Epstein Files podcast with Claude in a weekend and just crossed 100,000 downloads in its first week. to put that in perspective: the top 1% of all podcasts globally get around 5,000 downloads in their first 7 days. this did 100k. that's 20x the top 1% threshold. the average podcast gets 141 downloads in its first 30 days. most spend 18+ months trying to crack 1,000 per episode. a lot never get there and there are 4.5 million podcasts out there right now. no fancy studio. no production team. just Claude, a mac mini, and a weekend of focused work curating the right approach to this series. still processing this one honestly.

I'm giving away my entire @openclaw architecture. Behind my $250k/month agency. After weeks of building, I've dialled in the exact system that runs my business 24/7. What's included: • Memory folder structure (how to organize agent context) • Cron job templates (daily briefs, meeting syncs, content automation) • How to build a custom dashboard in @lovable • API reference doc (so your agent never forgets its tools) • Voice training method (85 posts to teach it your style) • Supabase schema for dashboard connection Comment "OS" and follow. I'll DM it to you. P.S. This will probably blow up so give me some time to reply.

What is $FDRY (@unbrowse) Foundry, with the ticker $FDRY, launched by @lekt8_ , is a project focused on ultra realistic UGC videos for performance marketing. Their content automation removes the editing layer by outputting a complete video from one prompt. In addition, Foundry focuses on enabling AI agents to learn how to interact with any website. Topics in this Project Introduction 🔸Unreel 🔸Unbrowse 🔸Token, Founder & Milestones So, let’s start! (TLDR at the end of the thread) Introduction Foundry is the holding company behind Unreel, an AI-powered video generation platform built to fix the ‘’TikTok content treadmill’’ faced by e-commerce brands and affiliate marketers AND Unbrowse, a decentralized marketplace where AI agents share learned API integrations and earn cryptocurrency autonomously through the x402 payment protocol. It is built by solo founder @lekt8_. With Unreel, Foundry focuses on making content creation accessible so that single operators can compete with larger teams that spend heavily on UGC creators. With Unbrowse, Foundry focuses on enabling AI agents to learn how to interact with any website or API, package that knowledge as a reusable skill and share them with other agents. In addition, the $FDRY token aligns users and the platform through a unique revenue-sharing model. 🧵 - 1/6

You need 2 Mac Studios with M3 Ultra to run Kimi K2.5 locally at ~20 TPS. At that speed you can barely run a single agent, not a "swarm" or an "army." Kimi K2.5 costs $1.5/M output via OpenRouter. Even if you max out 20 TPS 24/7 that's ~1.7M tokens/day which is equivalent of $2/day or $78/mo. You spent $20,000 to save $78/month, limited to one agent at a time, zero scalability, and hardware that's obsolete in 12 months. Your claim of "$20,000/month in API calls" is off by a factor of 256. You can drop to smaller models for higher speeds, but the API prices drop just as fast, Grok 4.1 Fast is $0.50/M output.
Alex Finn@AlexFinn

I'm sick and tired of the people who don't understand why I spent $20,000 on this set up, and plan on spending another $100,000 by the end of the year IT DOES NOT MATTER THAT LOCAL MODELS AREN'T AS GOOD AS OPUS 4.6 That is not the point. The point is me being able to run a swarm of local AI agents powered by local AI models unlocks a world you can't imagine A world never discovered by humanity before Right now, as you read this post, I have multiple local AI models reading thousands of posts on X and Reddit Hunting for challenges to solve Those local AI models are feeding hundreds of challenges a day to a manager model The manager model (Henry) decides what the company (Alex Finn Global Enterprises) will build. The company is constantly working. Constantly researching. Constantly building. Constantly shipping If I did this with local models I'd be spending $20,000 a month on API calls. With my set up, it's free. I have an army on my desk. Never resting. Never eating. Never complaining. Always conquering. Here is your problem: it's not that you don't understand this. You don't want to understand this. You don't want to think this is possible. Your brain doesn't want to believe this is the world we now live in. It is. And the faster you can accept this and get on board, the faster you can enter the new society. Otherwise, you will forever be doomed to the permanent underclass. Make your choice.
