I think what we’ve learned is Marner is the ultimate supporting piece. He looks great as the 4th most important Vegas forward and did he best work for Canada when moved to the 3rd line. We miscast him as Patty Kane when all along he was Hossa

Those who actually paid attention to the season (which apparently didn't include most fans in most other cities) understand that the Maple Leafs aren't as big a disaster as many want them to be. Injuries destroyed the second half of the season.

@mcclusk How crazy this season was is not being talked about enough. This was January 21. This team ended up with Gavin McKenna and a complete managerial overhaul after this. The Leafs have tremendous bounceback potential but everyone just wants to scream blow it up. Crazy stuff

@JLew1050 The edit was bad. Going into the finale I think most people knew exactly what the order was going to be. You don't want the winner to blindside the audience, but there had to be a way to juice the potential viability of a tiff, Rizzo or Joe win (last one would be tough lol)

Personally, I’d feel better about Aubry’s win if her edit wasn’t so heavy handed. Showing the biggest votes of #Survivor50 from her POV and giving her credit for moves she may have influenced but didn’t drive made the end game feel predictable and her victory a bit less organic.

@JLew1050 I want to see a different format every season. 2 tribes one year, 3 the next, fire sometimes and other times just a straight final 2, etc. If they can make it less predictable year to year, we'll finally see less boring game-bot play

What I’m hoping for from the “Open Era” is exactly what that title implies: variety. At its best, Survivor would keep things fresh for viewers & unpredictable for players. Change things up, then change them up again: format, twists, themes, challenges, rewards, player types, etc.

Worse, unfortunately. After finishing Andor, I rewatched it…and especially the first third of the movie felt very shallow and flat. The writing and acting in Andor is just so much better
