Anyone know any good American Lutheran history resources? I want to make a video about the history of all the American Lutheran denominations that ever existed. Not just their names and dates, but ethnic compositions and theological leanings.
I know that stuff for the Reformed denominations but just the surface level stuff for Lutherans.

I will say that libertarians tend to have the most logically consistent ideology, so even as someone who is more conservative, I highly respect that.

Libertarianism is just 120 IQ people with a strong moral compass projecting their psychology onto everyone else.

Yup. There is no such thing as left wing libertarianism. That’s just liberalism.

If you call yourself a "left libertarian" you have left libertarianism.

@MattWalshBlog When people abandon God, they abandon all hope of an Afterlife, and it drives them to extend their lives for as long as possible (out of fear).
Atheism makes cowards out of men.

🚨New: Thomas Massie has announced he has filed with the FEC for run for the Kentucky 4th Congressional District in 2028
Massie said: “This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office. I haven’t made a final decision about which office to seek, if I run.”

Trouble in the City of Churches? The LCMS will consider breaking up with the AALC at their national convention that starts July 18 in Pheonix. Both Lutheran synods have seminaries on one Fort Wayne campus, The conflict stems from a few different issues 🧵

I genuinely don’t understand not praying with other Christians.
I can respect and support various restrictions in pulpit fellowship and fencing the table but forbidding common prayer with non-Lutherans? No.

I genuinely think WELS is correct on the doctrine of Church Fellowship and their position helps avoid confusion on the matter.
