Big Ten (and Big East/Big 12 teams) CANNOT play in the NIT due to a relationship their conferences have with Fox. They have to play in the Crown tournament in Vegas. They cannot accept an NIT bid.

For the people who keep saying Cooper Zachary’s tip should have counted, the refs got it right. Here’s the screenshot from my video. You can clearly see that the clock is at zero *before* he even tipped the ball.
Great effort, though, by a GREAT competitor. Kid is special!

Pirates legend and also an Ohio Valley legend. Back in 2012, they put up a new road sign honoring him on Rte 7 near his hometown, but screwed up one thing.

It is with a heavy heart that we relay the news of the passing of legendary Pirates and National Baseball Hall of Famer, Bill Mazeroski. Maz was a 7-time All-Star who hit the greatest home run in baseball history. He was a beloved member of the Pirates family and he will be deeply missed.
