Yesterday, we lost the strongest, most courageous, unafraid woman I have ever known. She was feisty and fun, smart and witty, and deeply faithful and generous. I’m convinced she left us on 4th of July because she wanted to go out with a bang but the beauty of it all is that she loved this country and all it gave to her, my dad, and our family for over 50 years. She loved her family more than anything. My strength and determination came from her. I will forever be proud to say I am my mother’s daughter. I pray she is now holding hands with my dad once again. I already miss you so much. May you forever shine in God’s grace.
