I find it very hard to believe that my chimney pot is loose a third time in 9 years. It is not fit for purpose @DavidWilsonHome a chimney should last as long as the house, not an average of 3 years 😫

Over the last few months I’ve been working to create a project that puts boxes of wildlife goodies free into new build homes, to encourage people to make their new gardens attractive to wildlife. it’s called Nature Box and the first ones head out very soon. #rewilding

Thanks Charlotte, this is good to see. A start. Can you roll this approach out across all your homes though, that’s the challenge. Tried others and same…..So far the only developer that has is @Quinn_Estates - they’ve done it for two years now and put swift bricks in all their houses. Leading the way and I wish others would follow.

@DavidWilsonHome it’s happened again, this time landing on my car roof as me and the children were leaving for swimming. This is so dangerous, what if it had hit one of us?! A chimney should last as long as the house, not 8 years (or 4 if you count the last time it happened)

@DavidWilsonHome how long is a chimney supposed to last? I’m guessing longer than 4 years. It’s lucky we were out at the time it fell off the roof
