One of the most painful experiences was getting $51k liquidated. From this wake-up call, I realized that properly tracking Liquidity Providing was a task that Spreadsheets weren't designed for. Here is my founding story behind @DeFiOrbit_xyz :

This took over a year to resolve, but @lofty_ai was identified by the IRS for a, supposedly random, audit last year. Not the type of thing you want to hear or deal with as a startup founder, who still has a ton of work to grow and improve the product. But happy to announce that as of yesterday, the investigation was closed, no changes/issues/fines, on our end. Have you ever heard of a pre-series A company getting audited by the IRS lol? What a journey and at this point, you can tell how much glass we've had to walk through, when I say this was one of the easier things we've had to deal with since our founding lol!

DeFi Orbit will be positioned as one of the best DeFi platforms in the next bull run. Mark my words 🎯

It's 2026 Why do we have to download a mobile app for @Algorand instead of a browser extension? And "opt-in" an asset in order to receive it? I love where Algorand is going, but this is not the best UX

@TheAhmadOsman @bytebot Nothing wrong with being on crypto though. AI and Crypto go literally hand by hand. Real crypto adopters are usually advanced in tech, understanding blockchains, txs, bridging, wallets, protocols.. is not for everyone AI is a natural transition.

At @lofty_ai, we usually start testing new ideas using a manual process. It helps us move quickly and figure out if an idea actually resonates with users or not. Sometimes they do, but because of other priorities, we end up operating that manual process for far longer than we'd like. Introducing our new off-ramp and withdrawal flow. Users can now click 2 buttons and complete withdrawals for their rent balance or account balance to their connected bank accounts. There is also built in tracking to tell you the status of your withdrawals. Standard off-ramps are also free now (3-5 business days) through ACH while the express option (1 business day) costs 2%, down to 1% if withdrawing above $10,000. This has been a big bottle neck for the platform as users had to fill out a form manually and learn how to operate a crypto wallet to send funds to us manually. According to our support metrics, 75% of all customer support requests were regarding how to perform this step properly or getting an update on the status of their withdrawal. No more! @Bryan_TitanA @GetPyra Imagine you built an app for better GPS tracking (A Waze competitor) and because you dont have the maps and data infrastructure you end up partnering with Google for their maps API data. If Google were to get hacked, there would be absolutely nothing you could do about it.

They actually weren't transparent. If you download the application there isn't any mention of Drift at all. You have to go to the actual website and read through the docs. But its irrelevant, I would have signed up anyways even knowing it was using Drift. I just don't think this argument adds any weight and I've heard it a couple times now. Beyond simply "Pyra should protect its customer" which honestly just be standard... sorry if everyone just says "not my problem, we used a vendor", the industry is in trouble. There was actually time when Drift was being hacked over 3 hours or so, I wonder if there was something Pyra could have done. Did they have any circuit breakers on their end to mitigate losses?
