Goodnight, but Only for a Little While… The past two years have had some incredible highs and devastating lows for our family and Polder’s Old World Market. As many of you know, our founder Trevor Polder, was fighting advanced Laryngeal cancer through much of 2024 and 2025. Though he was undergoing very good treatments, his health steadily declined to the point our entire family was caring for him around the clock. He went home to be with Jesus on January 3, 2026. The way our family, friends, and customers came together to support, love, and pray for us through Daddy’s illness was the most incredible experience. We can never properly thank you for your kindness... and there is no way for us to ever be able to return the favor. But the Lord promises to bless and repay when we give, and our family prays that he does that for each and every one of you on our behalf. Daddy was an incredible man of faith. His life and testimony reflected the mighty men of God in the book of Hebrews. He devoted himself to knowing, obeying, and loving God like we are commanded to do in Deuteronomy chapter 6. His main goal in life was to teach his children to walk in the ways of God and to bring others to the Lord. One of Daddy’s favorite sections of scripture was this… “Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from His mouth and lay up His words in thine heart.” Job 22:21-22 Daddy studied and knew the Word of God intricately, and because of the immense amount of time he devoted to knowing God and walking in His ways, he lived in constant peace. Even in the middle of the most trying and difficult times, Daddy was firm in his faith and knew that regardless of what we could see with our eyes or hear with our ears, the Lord would be faithful to his promises and always be with us and work everything out for our good. Being separated from Daddy is the most difficult thing our family has ever walked through… But we have not said goodbye, we’ve only had to say goodnight. Praise the Lord for the beautiful promise that everyone that puts their faith in Jesus will be together in His Kingdom one day. He is a good Father, and He always keeps His promises. Daddy, thank you for teaching us the most important things in life… We love and miss you. As we celebrate 17 years of Polder’s Old World Market, we are without our founder and master woodworker. You may see us restructure things somewhat over the coming months and years, but we are finding our bearings and plan to continue carrying on the family business like we know Daddy would want us to do, and we look to the future with anticipation. For the LORD is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness endures to all generations. There’s no such thing as "eco-friendly" glitter. Regular glitter is pure microplastic. It washes into rivers, gets eaten by fish, and moves up the food chain, and eventually ends up in you. So-called "biodegradable" glitter was supposed to be the fix, but a study from Anglia Ruskin University found that it can actually be MORE harmful to aquatic plants than regular plastic glitter, thanks to toxic metal coatings. The EU banned plastic glitter in 2023. The US still hasn’t. Maybe it’s time we did.

look, it's probably just a big old coincidence, I know that. And sure, they did go after my pops and put him into financial ruin for something he had no connection to because of me , but this this is just a bunch of random things, and just a coincidence. 🤔😕🤨 thank the Father anyways, that my mom bought a blue car, because when the barn spontaneously combusted 40 feet away, and the entire side of the house melted off 40 feet on the other side, and the fire was so hot at the fire department had to come out three or four separate times to put the woods out, and everything else out, my mom's blue car fine, except for the black plastic melting.👀👀 thankfully, they weren't there when it happened. please pray because her friend lost a lot of the families livelihood in there, although the chickens and the duck survived.
