Calling all mobile app developers Are you building an app for both iOS & Android at the same time? Do you have the same codebase for both?

Started a week ago, not knowing how to write a single line of code I wanted to read the Bhagavad Gita daily, but couldn't find an app that felt right. So I built one. Ended with a full iOS app live @10minutegita on the App Store: → 239 daily readings of the Bhagavad Gita → Original Sanskrit shlokas + transliteration → Verse-by-verse translations & commentary → Personal daily reflections → Streak tracking with calendar heatmap → Shareable verse cards with 8 gradient themes → Hindi & English bilingual support → Light/dark mode, adjustable fonts → Completely offline after download Total cost: $200 Claude Max Subscription + $20 ChatGPT Pro Subscription + $99 Apple Developer fee Lines of code I wrote: 0 Claude Code wrote everything. I just described what I wanted in plain English (non-technical background). Codex reviewed it. Now it's live on the App Store. The barrier to building isn't coding anymore. It's just knowing what problem you want solved. Links & Full Process in 🧵↓ Built with @AnthropicAI's Claude Code

After the recent gig worker issues and strikes, my prediction is: In the next 2–5 years, platforms like Zomato, Zepto, and Blinkit will push aggressively toward drone delivery and other technologies that reduce dependence on human labor. Tech and AI will slowly replace many human roles. If your work is easily replaceable, the smartest move is to earn while you can, upskill in parallel, and plan an exit. The more demanding or challenging you become for a company, the faster it starts looking for alternatives.

Crazy paywall hack that saved my app: Replaced "Buy Now" with "Unlock Forever" Same price. Same features. Different frame. Conversions: +47% "Buy" = Spending money "Unlock" = Gaining access "Forever" = Scarcity removal Three words changed everything.

I don't build Android apps. Because iOS users: ▸ Pay 7x more ▸ Complain 70% less ▸ Subscribe 5x longer ▸ Leave better reviews Half the platforms, double the profit. Focus on wallets, not downloads.

Growing from $0 to $1,000 MRR is the hardest part At this stage, you’re solving two brand-new problems at the same time: 1. What to sell? You need to find a pain point people are willing to pay for. That takes dozens (sometimes hundreds) of iterations. 2. How to sell it? You’re testing marketing ideas, searching for your first traffic sources, experimenting with paywalls - and doing everything yourself. This phase is full of uncertainty. You don’t have a product that works yet. No traffic. No real feedback. Just guesses and hope. That’s why over 80% of developers never make it through this valley of death. But once you hit $1,000 MRR - everything changes. Now you: - have a working product - know who it’s for - and have a way to reach them. Your job becomes scaling. Doubling down on what works. And building systems. And the numbers back this up: If you’ve reached $1,000 MRR, there’s a 59% chance you’ll hit $2,500. From $2,500 to $5,000? That’s a 60% success rate. Each step gets more about execution, less about survival.

Yesterday, I almost fell for yet another phishing email - emotions were high, and it nearly worked. But after reading it again more carefully, I realized it was fake. Here’s how I figured it out: 1. Suspicious sender: The email came from google@developer-support-play.com - that’s not an official Google domain. 2. Generic greeting: It started with “Hello developers at Sarafan Mobile Limited” - no name, no account ID. Very impersonal. 3. Manipulative tone: It kept pushing phrases like “strong associations” and made everything sound urgent - a classic phishing trick to get you to act without thinking. 4. Dangerous request: They asked me to go into settings and remove “unauthorized users.” If I’d followed their instructions, I could’ve lost access to my account. 5.Wrong email: They sent it to my support email - not the one I use for any developer accounts. Don’t fall for this stuff. Stay sharp and always double-check.

Repeat revenue is the secret sauce for creators. 🔥 One-off deals are great—but retainers & upsells mean consistent income and less pitching stress. Here are 3 ways I turn one-off clients into retainer relationships 👇 1️⃣ Overdeliver on the first project Go above and beyond so they see your value early. It builds trust and makes them want more. 2️⃣ Pitch a monthly content package After delivery, offer a bundle with regular videos/photos that keep their socials fresh without them lifting a finger. 3️⃣ Showcase your strategy skills Explain how consistent content can drive sales & engagement. Position yourself as a partner, not just a content creator. Building relationships like this changed my business—and can change yours too.
