@Pijinnn_ I agree that it shouldn't be a perm revive, but I also don't get why people are bothering camping bodies for a whole raid, it doesn't matter how many teams you wipe, it's about getting the loot, getting stuff done and getting out. Camping a body for 20 minutes is just dumb

Current hot topic I'm seeing come up in games and streams. Death box camping. Currently there's no timelimit on going back for a teammates revive after losing a fight which leads to teams ouright camping boxes the rest of the match which then contributes to more passive lobbys Should the infite comeback exist? (I've had MANY a redemption arc match despite losing early fights which I love) Should there be a longer timelimit on boxes? Should bungie implement a "buyback" mechanic like some BRs use? Thoughts appreciated!

@UKPowerNetworks Hi, we had a power cut earlier today and although the power came back out lights throughout the house are either dim or flickering. Having checked the website it seems to suggest a second power has occurred but other things have power.

I kinda agree with this too, Dire especially feels more like a BR than an extraction shooter with teams just piling on each other. I'd also at more random spawn points rather than set spawns to keep players guessing @MarathonDevTeam

I'm starting to agree with this tbh. It wasn't this way early game/in the Server Slam because most unlocks that improve Heat and movement weren't available. This combined with the audio changes makes PvP come before anything else.

Marathon ARG update: - got a message in-game that gave us a portion of a passcode. Once deciphered, it gave us "THE MARATHON IS WAITING" which allowed us to do the 1st step of an 8 step quiz who's questions changed every time, minus the last one that referenced obscure landmarks/references on each of the 3 maps. The 8th question was "what was the answer to question #2/3/4". Once done, that unlocked the current stage we are on: The Preservation Challenge. The site is giving us multiple puzzles and a copy of a manual for the UESC Marathon that all must be completed with varying timers, but all of which are less than 1m30s and all count down at the same time. The puzzles all reference either the manual, multiple landmarks on each physical map (like the physical locations of shipping containers on each map, whose numbers have to be catalogued to mark against the manual entries that have been redacted/omitted), wiring diagrams, etc that ultimately end up giving us (we think) a series of decrypted key entries for the final puzzle that is ever-present in the upper left-hand corner of this step. Right now we have 4 of the 8 puzzles solved. A couple of them we haven't even attempted yet. They're a bitch this time around. It's 2AM. I'm gonna sleep. It's believed that 2 things are possible: 1) The map unlocks and is playable as soon as we finish the ARG puzzles or 2) The map unlocks and is playable as soon as we finish the ARG puzzles AFTER WEDNESDAY'S PATCH. What we know: You have to be level 25 with each faction unlocked to go to cryo. That's as far as we've gotten. My belief is this map will be a lot like labs or stella montis - faster pace, harder mobs, heavy NPC presence, gonna need gear, no rooks. My HOPE is that it also has some kind of raid encounter/boss. Which reminds me I need to kill some wardens tomorrow. Might need some homies to help get me some keys. C u in the AM.

Please don't listen to the people who want to turn marathon into a fruit machine. The shield break and down sounds and animations are fine and we don't need anything extra when we get good loot.@MarathonDevTeam

Shout out to everyone for giving us active feedback on the patch notes and changes! Re: the audio broadcast distance change, we originally wanted to give everyone more info in the map and make it easier to make choices around audio: where people are, what's happening on the map, whether to run towards or away from danger, but we're hearing we overdid it a bit and looking to pull back the range in an upcoming patch. This change should till give some of that benefit but at a distance that feels more comfortable and intuitive to everyone. Keep the feedback coming! Even if we're not actively changing something about it right now, I can assure you it's being catalogued and looked at (we have a big list).

@asalisbury Not thrilled about lessening the health of the UESC, I feel they are fine as they are, people should be planning and choosing their fights if they don't have ammo. The UESC should be a battle not a distraction, but I'll wait to see how weaker they are

@MarathonDevTeam Not sure if the UESC nerf was needed? Having to plan your fights and ammo was part of the flow of a run? The UESC should be hard to fight.

if i see one more post complaining about ttk i will crash out. i have over 100 hours of marathon testing under my belt from before they sped up ttk and i promise you, it won’t make you extract from more runs. you unironically just need to get good.

Well, that was a first. I was just contacted by some guy asking to buy a print of ‘the painting of the boy and his grandpa sitting on a wagon watching a rocket launch’…but tgat he coukdnt find it on my website. I replied that I never painted anything matching that description, and he sent me this obviously AI-generated rip-off of ‘The Unknown Awaits’. (Second image is my original painting). I know this gentleman meant well...he was genuinely looking for a legitimate way to get a print of an image he liked as a gift for his son...but this is going to be an interesting issue from now on.
