Two pubs are closing each day. Approximately 2,400 job losses. Each time a pub closes, a piece of our culture disappears. British pubs are woven into our heritage and history. They are a meeting place, where people connect, gather in celebration or mourning. It is the cornerstone of our community. At this rate, the only thing left of British culture will be a memory. UKIP pledges to end alcohol duty to make time at the pub more affordable for customers and enable, support and encourage our landlords to thrive by assisting them with whatever they need to stay open and operating.

The most Green Party story I’ve ever read. The Greens reparations officer, Antoinette Fernandez, who supports the idea of Britain paying trillions of pounds in slavery reparations, is descended from a Nigerian royal family that traded slaves. One of them owned 1,400 slaves.

MP Rupert Lowe has done more in the last year to highlight child rape in the UK than any other politician or political party. Imagine if every politician was like him!

Convicted terrorist Shahid Butt is standing as an independent Muslim council candidate in this week's local elections. He's likely to win, given that his Birmingham Sparkhill ward is less than five percent English. It's getting harder to laugh at these candidates now that Four Lions is becoming real life. Why are these people here? Why are they allowed to hold political power? Why are foreign colonies in our country, who will elect sectarian candidates to represent their ethnic and Islamic interests? The people who warned about this fifty years ago and were called racist have been vindicated.

We are hearing again and again in Great Yarmouth how people are voting for the first time ever in support of our candidates. Many didn't vote for me last time, many have never even voted... Something special is starting in Norfolk.

The great tragedy of the human rights industry as represented by the Attorney General Lord Squirmer is the way in which it inverts morality People who regard themselves as our moral superiors suddenly begin advocating for those who wish us harm, those who defend this country are pursued and harassed, and not only are the participants in this industry handsomely remunerated, but they’re showered with all of the laurels that the establishment can bestow: awards, lecture circuits, lavish dinners, even high political office. When will we turn things the right way up again?

I’ve spoken to a number of people on the doorstep in Great Yarmouth who have told us that Reform canvassers have been stating I want to deport every single foreigner living in the country. This seems to be their campaigning line… These are just flat-out lies, and it perfectly demonstrates the desperation on show. My policy position on immigration is quite straightforward. Every single illegal migrant gets deported - I have been consistent on this for a very long time, far before it was fashionable. We will implement an environment so hostile, that many of the illegals will remove themselves. The rest will be forcibly deported. We have published the most comprehensive deportation policy ever released in Britain. We have done our homework. It can be done, and it will be done. Foreign rapists and sex offenders are obviously all gone, including those who enabled their crimes. This was so controversial to Farage and Reform, they tried to put me in prison because of it. Reform had my home raided by armed police because I wanted to deport Pakistani rape gang savages and their accomplice wives. Farage said it was ‘brutal’, but it had to be done. His words. Grim. Legal immigration. If a migrant is living in Britain and unable to speak English, claims benefits, lives in social housing, hates our way of life, refuses to work? Then they have no reason to be in our country. And they should leave. Under a Restore Britain Government, millions would. Net negative immigration, severe net negative. The overall number is secondary, the principle comes first. We would strip citizenships from Islamist dual nationals who hate us, and send them packing. The revocation of British citizenships from dual nationals who wish to kill us will become entirely normal and very common. If those individuals have surrendered their secondary citizenship in an attempt to remain in Britain, we will take whatever steps necessary to reverse that process. Refugee statuses will be revoked from those who have entered the country illegally, and they will be deported back to where they came from or a third party country - crucially, the Afghans imported by Reform politicians will be removed. With these basic principles in mind, that would mean millions of foreign nationals leaving the country. For ongoing immigration, we would discriminate. We would implement the Red List. If a country is proven to supply us with criminals and freeloaders, we would close off entire visa routes from that country. Sudan, Pakistan, Eritrea, Somalia to name a few... Those ultra-high skilled migrants who live in our communities, integrate, contribute and belong - they are obviously welcome. The spousal visa process should be simplified and made more affordable for foreign spouses of British men and women from non-red list countries. We would put the British people first. Quite simple. Is any of this so controversial? I think not. Reform can tell their lies to the people of Great Yarmouth. It won’t work.

For a thousand years, when nobody was coming to help the British people, the British people helped each other. 🇬🇧 That has always been our answer. Long before any state asked it of us. Long before any law required it. We were already looking after each other. 🙏 In the year 900, every Anglo-Saxon man was bound by oath to nine of his neighbours. If one was wronged, the other nine were responsible for putting it right. ⚖️ The whole village answerable for each other. It wasn't charity. It wasn't kindness. It was the law. By the 1300s, every English parish kept what they called a poor box. 🍞 Bread for the family who couldn't farm. Wool for the widow who couldn't weave. Coin for the orphan with no one. The state didn't tell them to. The state didn't even exist yet. They just did it. In the 1400s, the wealthy started leaving their fortunes in their wills. Not to their children. Not to the church. To strangers. 🏛️ To houses where elderly neighbours could live for the rest of their lives. Some of those almshouses, founded six hundred years ago, are still housing British people today. In the 1700s, the working men came together. They didn't own land. They didn't have fortunes. They had a few pennies a week. So they pooled them. They called themselves Friendly Societies. ⏳ If a member fell sick, his family was fed. If a member died, his children were buried with dignity. If a member was injured, the doctor's bill was paid. By the 1870s, half the working men of Britain belonged to one. Long before there was a welfare state, the British working class had built one for themselves. Penny by penny. 🪙 In 1824, William Hillary watched a ship break up off the Isle of Man. He could hear the sailors calling for help. Nobody was coming for them. No navy. No coastguard. No state. ⛵ So Hillary asked the British people to be the ones who came. Volunteers. Donations. Lifeboats. Two centuries later, the RNLI has saved more than 146,000 lives. Still volunteer-run. Still funded by donations. Still no state involvement. 🌊 In 1862, half a million Lancashire mill workers were out of work. A naval blockade had cut off the slave-grown cotton from America. Their families were starving. Someone offered them slave-grown cotton from elsewhere. Just to keep working. They voted on it. In Manchester's Free Trade Hall. They voted no. They chose hunger. For people they would never meet. For people enslaved on the other side of an ocean. 💔 In 1911, a chancellor named Lloyd George stood up in Parliament. He had a plan. Workers would pay a few pennies a week. Their employers would pay too. And in return, when a worker fell sick, his family would be fed. The doctor's bill would be paid. He didn't invent the idea. He copied it. From the Friendly Societies the British working class had been running themselves for two hundred years. Thirty-seven years later, a Welsh miner's son named Aneurin Bevan made it national. 🏥 They called it the National Health Service. One of the proudest achievements in British history. And it was built on the model the Friendly Societies had been running for two hundred years before it. British working people had already invented it. The state finally caught up. The state didn't give us this. We gave it to ourselves. ✊ proudofus.co.uk/support 🙏🇬🇧 Be part of us. Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

We need an honest conversation about how - not all - but a substantial body of Muslims in Britain have views sitting far outside regular public opinion. The Times today features a Policy Exchange poll showing the extent of this divergence. It’s not ‘Islamophobic’ to notice this.

@LizzieMarbach I love playing video games. Happily married for 13 years. Some women actually dont mind men having a way to decompress after a long day at work. This woman doesn't speak for all of them, only the killjoys that you wouldn't want to be with 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't know what school this is, but unless the headteacher has invited a Reform UK politician (and others) to rebut this disinformation and to give a balancing view, this electioneering is a blatant contravention of Part V, Chapter IV, Sections 406-7 of the Education Act 1996.

Britain is a Christian country, built on Christian values, with Christian traditions - those supposedly ‘leading’ us would do well to remember that. We don’t need multiculturalism. We have a culture, and it works just fine. I’m certainly proud of it, and you should be too.
