@GAFollowers I drive a 23 F250 diesel that gets 20 miles to the gallon when diesel was 3.50 a gallon it would cost me $275 to drive 1500 miles. It'll cost me about $163 more to do that same trip today. If you can't afford 163 dollars then by all means, you definitely need to STFU

$20,000 for a 7-10 day cruise for 4 people isn't that much when you get a personal concierge team, and on some a personal butler. Exclusive drinks unlimited (think Woodford double oaked, Blantons, Grey Goose) A restaurant just for yourself, amenities that others don't have access too, priority embarkation disembarkation, first in line for shows and many many many other perks.

@Dcnitz @WallStreetMav Yes, and you pay extravagant prices for the modest benefits. This is, of course, the most effective US business model right now: offer a slightly better product, market it as "luxury," charge a lot more for it, and achieve high profit margins.

It's not just Carnival Cruise. All of the HUGE boat cruises are a mess. We went on Royal Caribbean years ago. There is nothing that would ever convince me to go back now. I have been told that the smaller luxury cruise trips are way better. Anyone tried that?

I spent the first 33 years of my life in/around Atlanta. My average commute was well over an hour, often up to two. Nothing anywhere else even feels like traffic to me. It’s such a constant factor there for such a massive radius outside the city for such a large % of the day.

Marijuana today is much more potent than just ten or twenty years ago, leading to increased psychosis, anti-social behavior, and fatal car crashes. Arkansans don’t want more dangerous drugs obtained more easily. A change to marijuana’s drug classification is a step in the wrong direction.
