There’s this car stand close to my farm. I met the owner at a bar one time and we later became friends. After farm work, I’d usually stop by the bar to chill with him before heading home. Sometimes I see him and his guys hanging around at the stand too, but I only join when he invites me. The guy is always at that car stand every single day except Sundays. And trust me, this guy sabi ball 😅. If I have outings, I even like linking up with him because I can leave my car at his place and we’ll pull up in a doper car instead. But here’s what’s been bothering me… One day I asked him if he does any other job apart from selling cars, and he said no. The strange part is that for almost 2 years now, it feels like I’ve been seeing the same set of cars at that stand … meanwhile this guy spends money like tomorrow no dey. At this point, I’m starting to feel like there’s something baba no dey tell me ..I’ve lowkey started avoiding him somehow. Abeg, car dealers in the house… how exactly are some of you guys doing this business?

The biggest evidence of demented egoism or outright stupidity is to say: “I was supporting Peter Obi until Obidients abused me. Now I am against Peter Obi”. Even if you graduated from Harvard, plus Oxford plus IMT or Caltech and you wrote this, you are either silly or fully of yourself, which is worse. Nonsense. What foolish egoism. People abuse you, then you descend to the abyss of immorality and incompetence to support a poor candidate because you must get even. Any you are still thinking you are smart? Shame on you

This Islamic cleric in Nigeria just placed a N1,000,000 bounty on a Nigerian pastor for alleged blasphemy. He's promising to pay the money to any Muslim that catches and executes the pastor. Since the statement, no Muslim leader in Nigeria has come out to condemn such act. Even the Muslims that supported the Pope and Jesus Christ against Trump, have not said anything about this obvious Christian persecution. Nigeria is a secular nation and no security agency in Nigeria had made any attempt to arrest this Muslim cleric threatening death against a Christian Pastor. When Trump tells you Christians are endangered species in Nigeria, he's very correct.

I was watching the match yesterday when my neighbour's wife came to call me that she needed help. Apparently she doesn't have some foodstuffs at home and her mother and two sisters came to visit her without her knowing. I then saw a text "don't help her" from her husband.

Yesterday we mourned Colonel Muhammad and his soldiers killed by Boko Haram in Borno. Today, communities in Bokkos are accusing the military of standing 3km away, while 20 civilians, including a pregnant woman and 8 members of one family, were being slaughtered for 2 hours. Same institution. Same country. Two completely different stories. Nigeria is not one thing. It is a lot of painful things at once.

Just In: Jos residents accuse military of shielding terrorists camp. A community group in Bokkos, Plateau has issued a bold statement accusing the military of complicity in the latest Islamist attack that left 20 dead. Alleging that the settlement where the attackers retreated to is currently being guarded by the Nigerian Army with gun mounted Operation Enduring Peace E5 trucks. Apparently the Fulani group positioned snipers to take out anyone who attempted to escape the village. But despite the military stationed less than 3km away from Mbwell village, Bokkos the attack lasted for 2hrs, yet they never showed up. The community considered this an indication that the security personnel were complicit. The attack left 20 dead; including 8 persons from one family and a pregnant woman. President Tinubu said he intervened and Nigeria didn't suffer the impact of fuel increase from the US-IRAN war like other African countries like Kenya. Is that true? Let's fact check him. Kenya Price of PMS in Kenya before the war - N1,970 per litre. Price of PMS in Kenya after the ceasefire - N1,980. Just 0.28% increase in PMS. Nigeria Price of PMS before the US-IRAN war - N850. Price of PMS after the ceasefire - N1,350. That is a whooping 58% increase. Kenya had only 0.28% increase as a result of the war, while Nigeria recorded 58% increase as a result of the war. Now, let's look at the minimum wage also. The current minimum wage in Kenya is N177,000. That means the minimum wage in Kenya can afford 89 liters of PMS in Kenya. Meanwhile, the minimum wage in Nigeria is N70,000. That means the minimum wage in Nigeria can only afford 51 liters of PMS. So, how president Tinubu arrive at that conclusion??? 🤔🤔

Bandits have k!lled an Igala-Abuja based businessman, Muhammad Shuaibu, and his 19-year-old daughter, Fatima, despite the payment of N12 million ransom demanded. Fatima, until her d3ath, was a student of the University of Abuja. The deceased businessman was a trader at the Dei-Dei Modern Market in Bwari Area Council of the FCT. Shuaibu was abducted alongside his two daughters from their residence in Zhidu community under Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State on October 3, 2025, after armed men invaded their home. A family member, who spoke to Daily Trust on condition of anonymity, said the kidnappers initially took the businessman and his daughters into the bush after rounding up members of the household. The source disclosed that the abductors later demanded ransom in installments, which the family paid in three tranches N6 million, N4 million, and a final N2 million bringing the total to N12 million. According to him, the kidnappers had earlier k!lled Fatima about three months ago, accusing her of being “stubborn,” even as negotiations for ransom were ongoing. The family member explained that after the last payment of N2 million, the kidnappers instructed the bearer of the ransom to return, claiming that the businessman had d!ed in captivity after falling seriously sick. The source also disclosed that the family had to sell the deceased’s shop at Dei-Dei Modern Market, his private car, and a sachet water production machine to raise funds for the ransom. “The bandits even asked us to sell his house, but there was no buyer,” he added.

As you step into this new week, I pray for you from Ephesians 2:6: May you walk in the consciousness that you are already raised and seated with Christ in heavenly places. May your mind rise above every limitation, fear, and earthly pressure.

This is terrible and totally unacceptable. Alex Otti used state money to fund the construction of federal roads across his states. After construction, he went to FG for refund, And Tinubu told him that he doesn't have money and instead, Alex Otti should toll the roads and recoup his money. Alex Otti said no. He can't tax his people that way; it's wickedness. Tinubu raised his hands up and told Alex Otti bye bye. 😭😭

This gist is crazy!! This girl accused this boy of taking her phone.. She created drama and got people to intervene, they started beating the boy and was about to give him jungle justice.. Some reasonable people among them then asked her to explain how he took her phone, that was when they discovered that she lied.. She was his girlfriend and the phone was the one he bought for her.. she broke up with him so he collected the phone back.. Not only that, he has been spending on her, feeding her and making sure she's comfortable.. But instead of being grateful, she accused him and allowed the angry youth to beat him.. Thank God they didn't do anything drastic to the boy.. What if they had lynched him? And guess what, they didn't touch her afterwards, they just ended everything like that..
