@Tesla Would be a lot lower if you were getting 10 miles per kWh instead of 5.5 and also covered them in solar cells so they charged themselves wherever they are. Otherwise you’ll need lots of parking and induction charging pads everywhere @aptera_motors

Just test drove the new Solar Aptera. Amazing. Stats: Total range 400 miles; 40 miles per day from solar alone, 11,000 per year. 100 watt-hours per mile. 0-60 in 5 sec!

@raywin @PeterDiamandis You can't make a self charging aptera for 35k in the way they do it The biggest factories can produce the cheapest, and they take tiny profit margins 2%? So the aptera will be much more expensive as the cheapest 40kwh ev, like 1,5x more expensive at least
