I agree w/ the sentiment here. I don’t think this is what Battlefield 6 fans want to see. Would this have been received differently if we were deep into the “tremendous” live service we were told we were getting? Probably. This just feels more travel in the wrong direction.

@GhostGamingG Hot take: battlefield needs no advertisement. All it needs is a solid base game and people will flock to it. You could literally not even have ads for a release date and people would still show up to buy it on the day. Imagine that: "did you hear BF7 came out today??"

@RazorwireRPG I've played them both, but not very much. I recently got a ps vita and modded it, downloaded fallout 1 and 2.

If I get one younger person to play Fallout 1 or 2, I know I'm doing the Lord's work. Bethesda might have stuffed those games into dogshit special editions made up of empty CD boxes, but I know people deserve the ability to play them and understand where Fallout came from.

People already starting to say “get back to your roots” Like they all didn’t say the same thing the last 3 Battlefields. The cycle is this: > Influencers Roast Battlefield > Players Complain “isn’t like subjective old days” > DICE marketing parrots “best Battlefield ever” and “back to roots” > Players glaze marketing material > Influencers dick ride every comment by devs > Game releases > Influencers claim minute design decisions are reason for diminishing player base > Players remember Battlefield has little to no replayability and is a 10-50 hour game > Influencers claim lack of content is reason why game is losing players > Players say next time will be better > Influencers roast Battlefield This is a half joke half serious.. it is laughable how predictable the loop is. The core problem for Battlefield’s marketing is nostalgia, everyone likes ice cream but everyone has a favourite flavour… that’s Battlefield’s marketing problem… can’t design their way out of it. But with Battlefield’s design- there’s just no reason to keep coming back.. give the IP a break and let the talented team at DICE make something interesting and fresh. Or, accept that Battlefield is not an evergreen live support game.. it’s a 3 month bash and dump. From a long time Battlefield fan.

@megigogi Anything I see about BF6 makes me think it's worse than BF4 in almost every way.

Battlefield 6 weapon systems like take weeks just to reach a weapon you want to try and then spend about a month worth of weekends and leaves to level it up to the point all the fun attachments are at only to realize putting ONE part on pretty much neuters your gun as a whole.

@BossGangCanada All the cool clips for War Thunder and all of its marketing is high tier modern era tanks and stuff, but they don't tell you you're gonna be playing as a 70 year old tank for 6 months straight before you even have a chance to experience any of this.

First time using a FPV drone, its pretty neat
