Rent in the Niagara region for say a 3bedroom townhouse that may even be very compact, is gonna run you ~$2200-2600 depending on the location/company. A lot of just basement or upper units still in the $2000 range. Renting a full home upwards of $3000. Then on top you have utilities, groceries, potential car payments, phone bills, insurance etc. plus you are expected to pay a first and last months and still have money to save, yeah sure. You need like 7-9k in a 2 month span just to get into a mid house in a potential shit area.

I once had to reassure a (very broke) man that I adored that a £50 ring was absolutely fine and that I wanted to marry him more than I wanted an expensive ring. Sure enough he proposed with said ring, I adored it, I showed it off to everyone, and it did not matter one bit how much it cost. This relationship didn’t work out for other external reasons but at least it wasn’t because I would accept nothing less than a mined 3ct ring. He should run.

My fathers great grandfather was born in Dublin, came over here sometime in the later 1800s, served in the military pre world war 1. My mother’s side is all from France that ended up in eastern Canada. Almost all my ancestry is either the UK or France. They are th ones who built this country, whose customs, cultures and heritage we share. The audacity of some of these people is fucking astronomical. I’d never be living in another country complaining or commenting on their holidays, traditions etc

Modern women love saying this thinking it’s cute, but give it 2 weeks without men when the garbage ain’t collected, the waste water management systems stop working, the power grid has issues, a storm damaged your house etc. the fact is, most if not all modern comforts and conveniences and the cushy lives a lot of them live is because of the men thy claim to hate and declare useless.
