I predicted someone like Trump many years ago, in THE DEAD ZONE. So now I'm saying this--in the next 12-16 months, we're going to find out if the two machines for the removal of a man unable to fulfill his duties actually work. They are impeachment and the 25th amendment. He is deeply unwell .

I'm old enough to remember Nixon's resigning. The country was so horrified at his behavior during the Watergate Scandal. But even Nixon was deeply qualified for the presidency. His debate with Kennedy proved how intelligent and informed both men were. That feels like so long ago. Trump will never resign in disgrace. They'll have to drag him out of the building.

@VeryBrexitProbs We're on the streets every day. Even in my 45,000 person suburb, twice a week, hundreds in the streets. If you didn't actually drive downtown at those times, you wouldn't know. It doesn't get any coverage. If you're hoping for a general strike, it's going to take much worse.

The majority of NATO’s intelligence and surveillance capacity is hosted on European soil and fed directly to the CIA, NSA and Pentagon. 6. Early warning radar at Fylingdales, UK. Missile tracking in Greenland. Norwegian monitoring stations near Russia. All dependent on European goodwill. 7. It would cost America MORE to bring the troops home than keep them here. European hosts subsidise roughly a third of all basing costs. 8. Europe is America’s largest arms customer. Stop buying American and part of their defence industry goes bankrupt. 9. The bases aren’t charity. They’re America using European soil, European money and European goodwill to project power across the world. 10. We’re not the freeloaders.

@Daractenus During his first term someone coined a phrase Everything Trump Touches Dies. It became quite common to see ETTD online. It refers to his businesses/marriages /deals/friendships and everything else he's involved with. Look at America, it applies

Having a Trump official endorse you and go out of their way to campaign for you is one of the surest ways to lose an election in Europe right now. Fortunately, somewhere between their incompetence and hubris, the Trump administration still fails to understand that.
