My absolute favorite part of my job is the relationships and friendships that are formed within the walls of my classroom. There are kiddos at a graduation tonight for one of our high schools just to support friends they made while in my room. Makes my teacher momma heart proud.

The earth is just spinning through infinite darkness at 67,000 miles per hour and somehow it also made blueberries?? And laughing?? And the feeling of sun on your face?? What is this place. What a an absolute gift.

@kenzianidiot When I lost my first dog, my oldest daughter sent flowers and it meant the world.

what do you get for someone who just lost their pet that’s actually helpful? food is tricky bc of dietary restrictions but flowers might be too sad. i dont want to interfere with their grieving process with anything that may be hard to look at while loss is so fresh

What’s something you used to care about… that doesn’t matter to you anymore?

Here’s the thing about “student-led learning” in K-12; students are children & they don’t know what they don’t know. If students only learn about things that interest them, they’re deprived of opportunities to learn about things that might interest them but don’t know about yet.

They landed within easy range of the navy ship and the exact time they said they would. Math is amazing.
