Prompt: A classic car parked in a dutch neighbourhood with typical recognisable dutch street features. It has rained, small puddles but sun is out. vintage Helios 44-2 58mm lens rendering, subtle anamorphic bokeh, shallow depth of field, subject sharp, Kodak color film, realistic film grain, soft natural light

Is it me or the Claude code $100 plan gives you way less juice than the equivalent $100 plan from Open ai Codex ?

I guess the leap to gemini 3.5 won't come any time soon since 3.2 flash is imminent.

I’ve been trying to recreate that swirly out-of-focus effect you get from lenses like the Helios 44-2 through prompting, and this is what I’ve gotten so far. the prompt: vintage Helios 44-2 58mm lens rendering, subtle anamorphic bokeh, shallow depth of field, subject sharp, Kodak color film, realistic film grain, soft natural light

@jun_song We are very early at the opensource LLM stage. Where on one side you will need to invest around atleast 10k in order to have a decent build, and on the other side a 200$ sub. Meaning you will have breakeven at around 4 years, taking into account subs stay 200$.

Just think about how much cash companies are burning to serve LLMs. Do the math on what a subscription should actually cost. Crazy dev salaries, Super Bowl ads, footing the bill for 80% free users, endless data center fees. It's even worse for OpenAI and Anthropic who just rent compute. Their compute bill alone is literally higher than their revenue. And demand is exploding. Hardware, power, cooling—the costs keep going up. To just make a profit, your current $20 plan should really be $200. And it's only going to get worse. People are already addicted to AI. If they 10x the price, you have no choice but to pay. Look at the trend. We use more tokens, but limits keep dropping. $20 was fine last year. Now $100 or $200 is the standard, and $20 is basically just a free trial. Sorry for yapping. But we really need to build local LLMs.

@ashen_one You know what would even be better? If they would say that it was AI all along just to trigger everyone

Can anyone tell me the real difference between Claude Code and Codex? Like, the actual difference, no benchmarks. Is Opus still hallucinating coding things it hasn’t written?

@rezoundous The gap between 1st quarter 2025 and 1st quarter 2026 is crazy. But somehow I feel like its slowing down a little. We will probably keep getting better and better models until real AGI comes around the corner.

Hey @TablePlus is there an easier way to export 33 query outputs, instead of copy pasting every single one of them one by one?
