One of my favorite genres is things you still say from when you’re toddlers were little… When my daughter was potty training, she would say “the pee is coming!” when she had to go. She is 18 now and we all still say it jokingly at home when we have to go to the bathroom.
michelle☆@michelleakin

when my daughter was little and we walked around our apartment complex, she would invite every neighbor she met over to our place “see you at ours house!” she’d yell as we walked away, regardless of how they had responded. we have a house now and we call it “ours house”

@jamiburns45 I have no love for the government of Iran and no info to contradict anything you said, tho I'd like to know about the threats on our shores, which I hadn't heard. But there have been people in power literally salivating about this for years, and that's who I don't trust.

Hi! Happy Friday! Hope you’re having a great day so far! 🌞So, I forgot where we left off.. I do know that Intel we have is correct, can be confirmed & proven that Iran was well on its way to rebuilding its nuclear program & warheads.. No one knows the timeline for sure, but some Intel officers say it was not long off by any means & can backed up with documentation. The negotiations since Operation Midnight Hammer went nowhere. The U.S. (and Israel) gave them every chance but it was proven they were continuing to rebuild their nuclear weapons. That’s a fact. And they also killed 30-50k of their own people (mostly just for protesting), as well. They’ve killed countless Americans & Israelis & have chanted “death to America” for 47 years. All the experts I’ve listened to & read articles by agree the time was now or maybe never to be able to take their death cult regime & nukes out - for the sake of the safety of their region but also the planet. They were building shields that masked almost all of what they were doing by satellite imagery. But our intel did get the satellite imagery & a lot of other documentation confirming the rebuilding of their nuclear program. They also threatened us on our shores, so it’s not a situation that’s isolated to only the Middle East & our allies. The highest Intel confirmed their threats including to our homeland. Trump Admin. gave them many chances & deadlines but they ignored all of them & kept rebuilding & killing innocent people. It’s a lot more technical & much longer story than this, but that basically sums it up in simple terms. I agree with all that’s been done, but to each his own. And I know most people aren’t locked in to the news or this subject. Even if one is, though, I know that have a right to their opinions.

Just to be clear: I voted for Trump to improve the economy, shrink the size and power of the federal government, and remove criminal aliens from the country. Not to give Lindsey Graham war boners.

@jamiburns45 Right, I've read similar analysis that Iran was a nuclear threshold country. But that is using data prior to June 2025. Remember, we've also been told that we completely destroyed their nuclear facilities last summer, allegedly setting their program back years.

Iran was far beyond "beginning stages" in terms of fissile material production — the key prerequisite for a bomb: - It had amassed a large stockpile of highly enriched uranium (HEU), including hundreds of kilograms enriched to ~60% purity (close to the ~90% weapons-grade level). - IAEA reports from May 2025 showed ~440 kg of 60% HEU — enough, if further enriched, for roughly 10 nuclear weapons (using standard estimates of ~25 kg weapons-grade uranium per bomb). - Breakout time (time to produce enough weapons-grade uranium for one bomb) was estimated at days to a week for one device, and weeks for multiple. This was dramatically shortened from years earlier due to advanced centrifuges and expanded enrichment at sites like Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. - Iran had also conducted past undeclared activities (e.g., at sites like Lavisan-Shian, Marivan, Varamin) linked to early 2000s weaponization, but these were historical, not current manufacturing. This made Iran a nuclear threshold state — it had the technical know-how, materials, and infrastructure to potentially "dash" to a bomb if a political decision was made — but not an active weapons-building program at the start. ### Why This Isn't "Beginning Stage" - Beginning stages typically involve early research, acquiring basic technology, building initial facilities, or small-scale experiments (e.g., what countries like North Korea did in the 1980s–1990s or Iran's own pre-2003 efforts). - By 2024–2025, Iran was at an advanced stage of the fuel cycle: industrial-scale enrichment, advanced centrifuges (e.g., IR-6 models), and a stockpile that put it weeks/months from bomb material — far from "starting."

@jamiburns45 Why did *WE* need to do anything at all? If Iran was a threat to the region, THOSE countries could take action. Or the UN. Graham is a member of the subcommittee on DOD Appropriations, and he's all in on funding war (Cuba next!). That's the only reason I care what he says.

Don’t know or care much about Graham these days. I’ve never liked him much and I am not one that is giddy about anything war related. I’m in the camp of the majority on the right that we needed to do something soon, though, given all I’ve read, watched and listened to over the years, namely the last year.

@DecemberCats It is about their nuclear capabilities and Marco has said that many times.
