Entry # 1 🌍 GenWealth has been working on making crypto inheritance easy for Web3 users and Real World Usage. After testing our first DApp with users and inheritance firms, we identified the need to prioritize usability and user confidence. 📢 Why it matters: Inheritance must be simple and secure. With billions in crypto at stake, many families risk losing assets due to poor planning or lack of user-friendly tools. Brief Explanation: GenWealth proposes to build the front-end prototype of our inheritance solution. This will let users and inheritance firms immediately test flows, give feedback, and shape an experience that works for both Web3 natives and non-tech-savvy beneficiaries. These contracts are designed to be secure, transparent, and open source, ensuring adoption across the Cardano ecosystem and beyond. They will be used as the foundation of GenWealth Inheritance solution, will be ready for Web3 usage immediately, and will be the basis for Real World usage by Inheritance professionals. 📢 Why it matters: The future of wealth transfer demands reliability, transparency, and decentralization. Without smart inheritance tools, crypto risks becoming inaccessible to families when it matters most. Brief Explanation: GenWealth is building 7 open-source smart contracts that work together to deliver a complete inheritance solution — secure, legally aligned, and integrable with wallets & dApps. GenWealth has been working hard on Crypto and Real World Inheritance for the past year. We’ve launched the first version of our Dapp, and did 1 on 1 testing sessions with Crypto Users and Inheritance Firms. We’ve gathered the functional requirements to create a Dapp that works for Web 3 and for Crypto Users, but also for Inheritance Professionals to manage real-world processes. Our focus is now building it, and for that, we have this proposal where we create Open Source Inheritance Smart Contracts that follow these requirements. A set of 7 Smart Contracts that interact with each other and offer a complete Inheritance solution: projectcatalyst.io/funds/14/carda… With this goal in mind, we also have a proposal to develop the Front-end for this Inheritance Solution. Developing the front-end now, allows testing right away, and find out how we can improve user experience, improve the front-end and the smart contracts, before starting with the offchain code: projectcatalyst.io/funds/14/carda… There are $12.6 Billion ADA held in self-custody that could be safeguarded with this solution, and in the next 20 years there is $84 Billion in Assets that will be inherited, and having just a small fraction of those assets going through this solution would make the process much simpler and cheaper for many people. These proposals are crucial steps to make this vision a reality.
