@SethDillon Gloating about innocent people being murdered by genocidal imperialist terrorists is evil. Celebrating a warmongering closet case meeting his maker in a just and timely manner is fine. Hope that helps.

It was a shock this morning to find out that my friend Lindsey Graham has died. He was a man who loved his work, his country, and his family. He didn’t have an easy life growing up and to me that explained a lot about him as well as his devotion to his remaining family members including his sister. It also explained his almost kid-like exuberance about his job and the responsibilities he was given (even in his sixties he would get off a plane in a foreign land with a twinkle in his eye and look at me as if to say, can you believe we are actually here and doing this?). Lindsey was loyal to friends and causes. He was willing to work on gnarly issues and take on (at times) political risks for the right reasons. It is fitting that he died shortly after visiting Ukraine, one of those causes he would stand up for through thick and thin. Much will be said in the coming days about his relationships with others—President Trump and John McCain for instance—but what can’t be forgotten is the reason why so many people he worked with—from senators to staff—will mourn his loss: Lindsey had a zest for life and the Senate that made you want to get to work on a bill with him or at least debate him. He brought joy to his job. Lindsey Graham was the one who was willing to work with me (when so few would) on helping the Afghan refugees. I remember standing outside of a little phone booth in the Republican cloakroom last year as he spoke with the Vice President, holding up a sign that said “Save the Afghans” and he put the phone on hold and said “OK OK I will go on your bill even if it gets me in trouble.” Or his early willingness to lead on big tech bills, including repealing the provision that protects them from consumer suits. But mostly my fond memories of spending time with Lindsey (and we travelled the world with John McCain) was not about the ups and downs of his policy positions. It was about his love for the world, his loyalty to hard causes and his friends, and the pure joy he brought to life. I will miss him.

Israel is home to one of the largest and most well-documented terror networks on earth. These Zionist terrorists spend their 9-5 terrorizing Palestinians. For a living. Now they’ve done it to an elected US official.
Trita Parsi@tparsi

Stunning account of how armed Israeli settlers harassed and effectively held US Congressman @RoKhanna for 90 min. When Israeli soldiers showed up, Khanna thought they would help release him. Instead, they helped the settlers. This is what Israel does to the country that arms and finances it. What he saw in Israel and Palestine only further convinced him to speak out. “I’m going to go to every corner of America, regardless of whether I run or not, and tell their stories and tell the story of what is happening in the West Bank.” nytimes.com/2026/07/11/us/…

🇵🇸 New: A month after Israel’s High Court ruled that the blanket ban on International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visits to Palestinian detainees was unlawful, no new visits have yet begun, and Israeli prison authorities have issued new restrictions that sharply limit how and when those visits can take place, Haaretz reports. The new guidance includes: ➤ The ICRC will be limited to one prison visit every three months and must submit a list of no more than five prisoners it wants to see in advance. Several categories of detainees, including those in solitary confinement, under interrogation, or classified as “highly violent,” cannot be visited. ➤ Visits are capped at 30 minutes and can be ended early at the discretion of prison commanders. Prisoners will be interviewed individually from behind a partition via an intercom instead of in private face-to-face meetings. ➤ ICRC delegates will no longer be able to request medical examinations for prisoners and are prohibited from bringing any recording devices including phones, cameras, computers, tablets, smartwatches, or other communication equipment. ➤ Human rights groups say the new policy defies the High Court’s ruling and will make it harder to document alleged abuse inside Israeli prisons. 🔗 Report from Haaretz is linked in reply.

Israel insists that reports of rape of imprisoned Palestinians are false. So why not allow unfettered visits by the Red Cross to show there is nothing to hide?

I’ve cried for the deaths of only three public figures in my entire life: 1- Matthew Perry, who played my favorite character on Friends. I cried for hours and couldn’t bring myself to watch the show again, even though I had already seen it 20 times. 2- Charlie Kirk, someone I wasn’t even a huge fan of and often disagreed with on variety of issues, yet watching the video of him being shot hit me incredibly hard. 3- Lindsey Graham, one of the rare voices in politics who cared about the Iranian people’s fight for freedom and stood with us.

Irwin Cotler is a stain on Canada. Leftists who have promoted this supremacist fraud should apologize to Palestinians. On the front of Thursday’s National Post the former Liberal minister took his anti-Palestinian hate to a new low. In “The truth about Nakba: Propagandizing the antisemitism agenda in Canada”, Cotler wrote that the tiny “Palestine Uprooted: Nakba Past and Present” exhibit at the Canadian human rights museum ignored how the “Jews also suffered a ‘Nakba’”. According to Cotler and former Conservative minister Joe Oliver, the ethnic cleansing of Palestine was in fact a story of Jewish suffering. Two weeks ago Cotler also co-authored a Globe and Mail commentary labelling a museum exhibit he hadn’t seen “propaganda masquerading as scholarship”. Cotler is a raving Jewish supremacist who supports spilling ever more Palestinian, Lebanese and Iranian blood. He has promoted aggression against Iran and criticized Canada joining 155 countries that have recognized Palestine. Cotler has attended multiple rallies supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza and written in defence of its policies. Previously Cotler pressured the International Criminal Court to ignore Israeli war crimes and opposed the International Court of Justice advising member states on their responsibility vis a vis Israel’s illegal occupation. He’s also pushed Ottawa to relocate its embassy to Jerusalem while attending events put on by the racist Jewish National Fund and meeting with far-right colonists seeking to cleanse occupied East Jerusalem of Palestinians. In one sense Cotler is little more than your run of the mill politically connected Jewish supremacist. But in another way, he’s far more despicable. More than any other, Cotler goes to great lengths to mask his Jewish supremacy with human rights language and work. He set up the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights and falsely claimed to have been Nelson Mandela’s lawyer. Cotler has become a saintly figure in the establishment by expressing moral outrage at official enemies while endorsing or ignoring international abuses by the US and Canada. Despite a half century of aggressive support for Israeli apartheid, genocide and war crimes, Cotler’s liberal imperialist ‘human rights’ schtick has traction with the establishment left. In November 2024 the House of Commons unanimously praised Cotler’s “contribution to the defence of human rights”. At the time pro-Palestinian NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice told CBC Cotler was a “remarkable” individual. In recent years NDP foreign affairs critic Heather McPherson has done a half dozen events, including on June 11, 2025, with the leading apartheid and genocide apologist. In November 2022 McPherson and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh met with Cotler, capitalist Bill Browder and others. At that time McPherson wrote, “this afternoon, Professor Irwin Cotler and I spoke about how we can work together to protect human rights in Canada and around the world. I am grateful to him for sharing his wisdom with me.” Previous NDP foreign affairs critics Hélène Laverdière and Guy Caron regularly attended events or initiatives led by Cotler. So did former NDP MPs Murray Rankin and Randall Garrisson. Green Party leader Elizabeth May attended many press conferences organized by Cotler. May was part of the Cotler-led Raoul Wallenberg All-Party Parliamentary Caucus for Human Rights and has repeatedly praised him. Everyone can make mistakes, but to regain credibility, leftists who have lauded and worked with Cotler should be pressed to publicly denounce his genocidal Jewish supremacy. Truth and reconciliation with millions of Palestinian victims requires it.

The Israeli Monopoly-style game I used to play as a kid, named Kinyan (Property), was based on an old Zionist boardgame that preceded it called Rikuz (Concern). The first edition of the game came out in 1941 and included all of Palestine, including cities where no Jews lived at the time, such as Gaza, Samakh and Nablus.

Danny Danon taking the US Ambassador to Quneitra as part of his "northern border" tour reminded me of the version of Monopoly I played while growing up, which included the Golan, Gaza, the West Bank, Sinai and... Tiran and Sanafir islands (in the Straits of Tiran, now under Saudi sovereignty.)

I wasn't "safe" when I was brutally stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist who later got out in the hostage deal. Your gov has not yet arrested him despite there being a warrant. Why didn't you meet with me? Oh well, at least you're "safe..."

Thank you to all those who reached out asking about my safety. I am home. But I cannot get the stories of the indignities Palestinian face out or my head. I am still processing it and wanted to share some of what I saw.

At a Free Palestine event in Stockholm, marchers carried a prop gate reading "Gaza" designed to look like the infamous Auschwitz concentration camp gate. Why do people insist on turning the horrific fate of the six million Jews murdered by Nazis into a prop they bring to protests? Do you seriously not see how offensive this is?
