Violence is never acceptable and any comments that suggest otherwise are in no way consistent with our mission and values. The person who made comments online about Saturday night’s incident at a Washington event where President Trump and many other political leaders were gathered is no longer employed by the company.

The Supreme Court heard arguments in a case that could reshape the years-long legal fight over Roundup, the world’s most widely used weedkiller. It’s been a mainstay of industrial agriculture in the U.S. and around the globe. But thousands of lawsuits allege that one of its key ingredients may be linked to cancer. @AliRogin speaks to @hbottemiller for more.

World Immunization Week is a reminder that we have the tools to save lives. Last year’s flu season was devastating for children, and 89% of the kids who died were unvaccinated. That should be a call to action for all of us—especially the Secretary of Health and Human Services. If Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has changed his view on vaccines, now is the moment to make that clear and help protect America’s kids.

Don’t be fooled by softer language - it’s not evidence or new science driving our vaccine policies, but rather the opposite. I hope you'll read the piece I co-authored with Richard Hughes, discussing how exactly the Trump Administration is limiting our ability to access lifesaving vaccines for our families. newsweek.com/rfk-trump-admi…

Advocates rallied outside the Supreme Court on Monday to speak out about the detainment of Palestinian-born green card holder Salah Sarsour, the president of Wisconsin's largest mosque. Sarsour, who does not have a criminal record in the U.S., was arrested by ICE on March 30. The Department of Homeland Security says Sarsour is a threat to U.S. foreign policy, pointing to a conviction against him from decades ago in which he was accused of throwing molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli forces in the West Bank when he was a teenager. Local officials and religious leaders and advocates in Wisconsin have accused DHS of arresting Sarsour over his criticisms of Israel, and say his arrest is an attack on free speech. Sarsour continues to deny wrongdoing. DHS and ICE have not responded to CBS News' request for comment. CBS News' @ashhar_quraishi reports.
