यह बस्ती सुनील दत्त ने 1980 के दशक मे बसाई थी..ज्यादातर लोग गैर कानूनी बांग्लादेशियों को बसाया था वो गरीबों के मसीहा ने।
दो सौ वर्षों पहेले मुंबई मे सिर्फ कोली लोग रहते थे और शहर बांद्रा तक पहुचा तक नहीं था..
