@PeteCapeCod @digitalocean This has always been the case--or at least since 2020, when I started participating. If you see dev.to/jimcmorrison/h…, the rules may have actually changed at the start of Hacktoberfest 2020 (I can't recall), but the #hacktoberfest topic rule was definitely there even back then.

So I'm kind of bummed out about #Hacktoberfest this year ☹ 🎃 Apparently, @digitalocean changed the rules this year and only certain PRs count 🤷🏻‍♂️ Which means I only got 3/4 😭 I didn't know there was a *wrong* kind of OSS to contribute to 😤 Always next year I guess...

@chesscom What kind of feature is a "little known way to" lose the game? I was calculating 6. ... d4 7. Ne5--which is winning for me--to make sure that I wasn't missing anything, only to suddenly find that I've "abandoned." Had to hunt down support.chess.com/article/338-ho… after the fact.
