@Gregulationist Ask my husband? The one who led our family to a cult? No thank you!
English

@DefendTheSheep If you have questions about the bible, you ask your husband...you are the problem.
1. God
2. Husband
3. Wife
Learn your role in the chain of command, and stop trying to learn the bible, obviously it's beyond your ability.
English

In my marriage, if I didn't align with my husband's interpretation of scripture, I was labeled disobedient and unsubmissive - even if I had done extensive study using Bible study tools. He thought he could be my spiritual mediator.
This is spiritual abuse. #patriarchy
English

@reformedpirate1 @ReformedSaxon The audacity to tell someone to repent to a stranger amuses me. Do you think someone will actually repent when you say that? Strange behavior.
English

@DefendTheSheep @ReformedSaxon Yes Marxist gender identity stuff is annoying but more importantly it’s sinful. Repent.
English

@DefendTheSheep I can only imagine how many heretical views you hold.
Submit to your husband.
English

@mwal7777 You are really going to post Bill Gothard's umbrella of "protection" on my feed. lol That is the blueprint for abuse.
English

@elliemturnerr Divorce was final 6 years ago - after 35 years of marriage!
English

@DefendTheSheep lmfao spiritual abuse? and you say "in my marriage" as in current? is this a cry for help? because you need to leave said marriage like fucking yesterday
English

@DylanQu42183199 My husband wasn't interested in reflecting together. It was his way, period.
English

@DefendTheSheep If your neighbor comes to you with concern of food and drink would you send him away hungry? I think reflecting with partner is what can bring a reflection. Is abuse from avoiding the flea with treasures to give but say I never knew you. The Lord mediates abuse as spiritual?
English

@RestoringChurch There's a reason why I shouldn't have ever listened to my husband. He led our family into a cult. God gave women brains, too, to learn from scripture.
English

There is a reason women are told that if they want to learn anything, they should go home and ask their husbands.
No one can reject God's given authority for them and their good and not become the only one to blame for the consequences.
It can be all his fault in your submission to a husband in all things as unto Christ Jesus humself
Or it can be all your fault.
The blame goes with the authority.
This is how foolish women tear down their own homes.
English

@DJfromIndy You are making this assumption based on my one tweet? Trust me, there was far more than this. He also led our family to a cult. Read my About Me in my profile.
English

@DefendTheSheep Tearing asunder what God has joined together over a biblical disagreement is crazy. And I say this as a person who really did experience spiritual abuse in a cult. I’ve unlearned some of my assumed beliefs on marriage but this is nuts.
English

@DefendTheSheep There is always one of those guys in a church. You can see it written on their faces.
English

@DefendTheSheep Agreeing with someone when you agree with him is no thang.
English

@Pumano0921 @theaetist You mean twisting scripture to hold me hostage? No thank you. I'm glad I'm free from him lording over me and treating me worse than the cats.
English

@DefendTheSheep @theaetist This is the kind of mistake he’s supposed to protect you from
English

@MusicEdu4all @Pumano0921 Isn't it interesting these pro-Patriarchy dudes are so fragile they have to use pseudonyms, but here I am using my full name, including pic and have been since 2012. They are afraid of strong women.
English

@Pumano0921 @DefendTheSheep I don’t engage with anonymous bots or people too cowardly to use their real names. Have a nice life! Goodbye. I don’t care what you think and wasn’t speaking to you.
English

@reformedpirate1 @ReformedSaxon Thanks for outing yourself. I put pronouns to annoy people like you.
English

@ReformedSaxon @DefendTheSheep She has pronouns in her bio so opinion discarded
English

@snowmonkeycant No, it's patriarchy. His way was the only way to interpret scripture (in his mind). My voice did not matter. He heard me perfectly well.
English

@DefendTheSheep That's not patriarchy; That's poor communication.
English

@calvincates2024 I see who you follow and it tells me everything.
English

@MusicEdu4all Yes, that's why I share my story. Thank you!
English

@DefendTheSheep Well done growing in strength and getting out. I hope you are working to empower more women in that situation to do the same? They need you!
English

@pastorkevinj Kevin, interestingly, we started off at a charismatic church when we married. We moved on from that to non-denominational, then he went to hyper-Calvinism. I didn't realize the extent of his theological change. I was too busy homeschooling 7 kids.
English

@DefendTheSheep Did you know this about him before you married him? -1 Peter 3:7
