We call this Grip. When a player gets into attack zone in transition we have to begin to back peddle and get on the balls of our feet and GRIP. This drill reps transition defense and being ready for the attack.

Great drill for spacing. Makes players have to communicate and make quick decisions. Need at least 4 players to do it

Hill work can create an edge and build strength nothing else can. We get all our basketball players on the hills in the off season. @dean_rueckert

I was at Summer League breaking down some players - amazing to see Clippers run pure ∆ offense for Keaton Wagler while Darryn Peterson showed off his on ball/off ball skills in 1 play. Thx @coach_paint for amazing graphics! Link to full video below! 👇🏀

Don't worry about being the most interesting person in the room, just try to be the most interested person in the room. The interested person asks about others and leaves a good impression because people like talking about themselves. The interested person is genuinely curious about someone's craft and learns a lot about how things work. The interested person engages with more people and—because opportunities come through people—is more likely to catch a lucky break. In general, the interested person learns more and tends to be well-liked. And in the long run, it's hard to keep down someone who is well-learned and well-liked.

Med ball lateral ski is a simple way to build better change of direction. The med ball loads the frontal plane, challenges trunk control, and teaches athletes to absorb and redirect force.
