‼️ Taking a break from MARATHON until I see more substantial balance changes / updates.... It's increasingly obvious the game is designed for premade trios. You can't even participate in any endgame loops as a solo And random fill is way too inconsistent to enjoy Cryo or Ranked with. Or even progress factions story with. Cryo itself - - Need increase vault keys drops, so we can make vault attempts more often. the new 3 reds for outpost room is the OPPOSITE effect.... - increase drop rate of sec. tags only until security 3 so teams can attempt exfil easier. Allowing them to learn map with more runs - nerf bubble shield and grenade spam effectiveness. they ruin the great gunplay and variety of pvp

I swear its like every year I get flashbanged on twitter by Lono no matter how many accounts I mute. Same with joker. Not surprised they're both affiliated with each other. I've never played an extraction shooter. Marathon is my first. It took me like...2 matches to figure out that the contracts basically teach you how to play marathon and extraction shooters in general. (Rouge lite with PvP) and the story as well. The menu did take me a while to get used to though ill give you that. That being said in terms of complexity I'd put it up there with learning how to use the U.I in like Minecraft for the first time. The thing that should get *casual* gamers excited to play more is the rougelite loop. If you enjoy the loop then you'll keep playing. If you keep playing you'll get better, if you get better you'll get better loot. Rinse repeat doods. At least thats what's hooked me.
