"Hyperliquid is kind of just a centralized exchange without KYC that built a great perps product." "I early on criticized them for not being decentralized. I still think they're not. But it doesn't matter if people like the product." - @LoganJastremski co-founder of @FrictionlessVC

No most of your comparison as far as I have seen was on crypto assets. There was and still is plenty of liquidity. Your competitors run 24x7 orderbooks which allows people to trade at critical times without fully relying on price discovery via third party. They are still fairly liquid than you on weekends have no force closure of position due to leverage, indefinite funding fees etc There are cfd brokers who take crypto deposits and do what you do for maybe 3 years now. Very curious to know where you find yourself amongst all these

@defidegen22 @OstiumLabs one of the primary reasons we are seemingly in competition is because the pond is too small and there are no sufficiently liquid onchain venues to actually route flow to. in a mature market, broker-layer apps are not directly* competing with exchange-layer apps

Ostium
Ostium@OstiumLabs·
Ostium does not compete with other perp DEXs. We’re focused on bringing the best execution for traditional assets onchain. This means we do not use standard oracle feeds. Instead, we built an in-house quoting system that uses Stork's custom aggregation and decentralized node infrastructure. Learn more here:
Stork@StorkOracle

As the 1st mover in RWA perps, @OstiumLabs has done $45B+ in cumulative trading volume, with over 95% of open interest in traditional markets (commodities, FX, equities, indices, and ETFs). These markets are secured by a custom oracle. Here's how it works. 🧵

Used @OrbitX_Pay for crypto to bank transfer and it got transferred to my Indian and Dubai acc in like a few sec Idk why people do P2P here, when this option is even better and reliable 1. Either transfer to bank acc 2. Use card to spend 3. Can get Corporate acc and issue sub cards for your company And the best part is when I started using it a few days back, because of some issue the txn was on hold but even after I forgot about it, @harshamv personally followed up and sorted it without even me following up I feel it was not just the product usage but also how frequently the team is on the ground and ready to help personally and sort all your problems!!

Kaito used to be one of the most talked-about project on the TL. Now, barely anyone even talks about them anymore. How they dipped after X cracked down on InfoFi is shocking, they didn’t even try to pivot or double down on the features they had. But then again, it just proves a point: most people are here for the money, and when it slows down or stops, the chances of them leaving the space increase significantly.

CZ constantly talks about the story of “selling a house to buy Bitcoin.” But what is the full truth behind it? Where did the down payment for that house originally come from? And whose house was actually sold? When using this story to portray himself as visionary and repeatedly showcasing it as an achievement, did he ever consider the feelings of his wife’s parents — who supported their daughter and son-in-law back then and are now elderly? There are many things I have never disclosed publicly — in fact, I’ve never even wanted to revisit them. Taking advantage of someone’s misfortune or using private life for moral attacks has never been my principle. If it weren’t for that book full of falsehoods dragging me into this, I would never have brought up these old matters again.
Crypto Zenkai@zenkaixbt

CZ from Binance said that when he first got into Bitcoin, he sold his apartment for $900K to buy the dip at $400. Even though he didn’t even have a job at the time. Buy the dip and never sell your bitcoin. 🚀

A 22 year old Pune mother kills her 11 m old son, throws his body in a well, lies to police, remarries, and tries to “start fresh” like nothing happened. Let that sink in ! She actually started a new married life, when her ex husband came searching for her and asked for the baby boy. She said he died in an accident, the ex husband then filed a missing complaint for his son. Police found out that the mother banged the baby's head and killed him. This isn’t just a murder, it’s a chilling reflection(since suchna Seth case) of how far emotional detachment and self-interest can go when accountability disappears. A child wasn’t an obstacle, he was a life.We keep debating society, marriage, freedom but where do we draw the line between personal choice and moral collapse?

Have decided to support @fluentxyz ICO - haven't participated in one for a while but I've known @blendino for some time and the team has been transparent throughout. Key reasons: -$1M raise at $100M FDV, fully unlocked at TGE. Typically should launch higher - expecting a $200M FDV open. - Day 1 circ supply is ~5% - OKX, Bybit & Coinbase listings confirmed, so initial sell pressure should be manageable. - Differentiated product angle and the timing works - leaning positive on April, so new launches with strong backers + exchanges could do well Disclosure: holding $BLEND ICO allocation. NFA.

no hate to anyone, but the charm of big tech is slowly crumbling. Their entry process is already exhaustive more than ever, and the most can’t even cross resume screening. Not to mention, risk of layoffs due to LLM’s progressive. Early age startups ( especially remote ), gig economy are booming. And this is not I am making stuff, a recent connection with 7-8 years of experience left corporate to work for remote UK startup.

From what I have gathered Mythos = GPT 5.4 Pro level in performance Anthropic is just really good at hyping stuff up They’re also compute poor and thus would rather hype up than release a model that they will have to nerf lol

2 months in Bangalore and I miss Mumbai. I miss the people. Every small interaction here feels like a negotiation. Auto drivers, packers, old tenants. Everyone’s trying to squeeze something out of you. In Mumbai a cab driver sees it’s hot and just turns on the AC. Here you have to ask for it like it’s a personal favour. That tells you everything.
