@ConorRyan_93 Did he slash Benson with a two-hander? Yes. Did he injure Benson? No. Did he know that where he slashed him would hurt but not injure him? I think yes. Any more than 2 games is not warranted IMHO.

@_sharples @FriedgeHNIC Wow. Your team had 3 power plays to none for the Bruins and you are wishing someone broke their neck because you thought more penalties should have been called against the Bruins?

@FriedgeHNIC Maybe Benson was upset with the cross check to the throat from the first period. or the elbow to the head of Doan, or the upending of Dahlin while we were scoring the empty net goal. I only wish he would’ve tripped him forward, and he broke his neck on the wall.

@bigjimmurray C’mon - this season was anything but a disaster. Took their medicine last year to get draft capital and they exceeded expectations this season. But sure, dump on them and call 2011 a “fluke”. Whatever that is supposed to mean.

Yet another disaster in the books. They’ll never win another Stanley Cup in our lifetimes.

@NHLFoley He could rival Evan Rodrigues for biggest year over year point jump at BU (from 14 to 61 granted, Eichel helped lift everyone’s points). Of course he only played a half season this year.

Lawrence wasn't going to be the offensive fix for Boston University - but he was a major boost on defense and in moving pucks This is a great start for a young kid who took on college mid-season. Suggests a big year ahead, I'd say #2026NHLDraft

@BurntBoats To my knowledge, Villeneuve has not committed to BU. I know there are rumors and talk of him being the next Hutson for us, but no commitment yet. And Morin, is that the same one that went to the Q a couple years ago?

Updated future roster chart after about a week of the portal being open. Both F and D have 1-2 slots to fill from here, and both have options that could be pulled from 2027 if needed, instead of from portal/new recruits. F stronger than D as things stand now, IMO.

@BUHockeyStats Jacques was the first D-1 player I ever skated pick-up with. The fact that he couldn’t even crack BU’s lineup regularly left me in awe at how incredible the better players must be.

@NHLFoley I can’t wait to see his numbers explode at BU next year. With him Malholtra centering the top 2 lines…should be a fun season.

It's DC in 2027 and Chicago in 2028, but the #MFrozenFour should come back to Las Vegas within the next decade. Great vibe in the city. Easy draw for fans. Good rink. Awesome crowds. The best of these I've been to from an event standpoint.

More obnoxious audioporn (yeah, that’s redundant) at Frozen Four. And arena hosts screeching. Detracts from the experience at a great event

@ConorRyan_93 If you happen to be in Vegas I hope you are at least mid-strip. It is a long walk to the nearest DD if you are in the southern end. But the quality was just like home.

Keep an here eye on #48, Lane Hutson. He will create so much offense for Montreal. 1) 10/10 competitor. High motor and his brain is always on high alert. 2) quick escapability off the wall and looking to make the right play. 3) high awareness. Avoids offside just prior to goal. Skill takes over from there and a goal is scored. Like a lot of elite #cawlidgehawkey players, he should be better in the NHL because he will play with better players.

@elonmusk How does that change when you compare to a sharp minded (I.e. not an irresponsible teen or an elderly who shouldn’t be driving anymore) human actually paying attention? Because until I fall into that latter bucket, I will not trust a computer to be better than I am.
