British Muslims are extremely reasonable people. We demand no special privileges that impact on other communities, we only demand our rights as citizens just like everyone else in the UK.
Our only red line is that we insist on the right to freely practise our religion within the confines of UK law.
And given that the UK, as a secular nation which allows freedom of religious worship, already accords us that right there should be no issue.
Any problems with Muslims here are being stirred up by racists and Islamophobes.
