Thinking of Darnella Frazier who filmed the death of George Floyd at 17 and quite literally changed the world. She testified there are nights she stays up “apologizing & apologizing to George Floyd for not doing more.” But, she did so, so much to get to this murder conviction.

As these Pennsylvania Republican congressmen begin to speak, it's important to note that they will literally be arguing that the election that produced their victories was somehow illegal but that they should retain their seats in Congress.

It’s easy to make claims of election fraud on cable news or Twitter — but those claims are not facts.

These baseless challenges to our democratic elections have consequences that the entire world saw play out today that chip away at the very foundation of our government and our Constitution. The people have spoken. We have an obligation to certify the results of this election.

Senate Republicans refused to seat @SenatorBrewster. Then they removed @JohnFetterman as President of the Senate. @JakeCorman is refusing to recognize any Senate Democrats.

Tune in: The @PASenateGOP is currently attempting to hijack the proceedings on the Senate floor, remove the Lt. Gov from his duties as the presiding officer, & make a mockery of the state constitution. This is truly a sad day for democracy and for the people of Pennsylvania.

One gift Trump could give the country and the world is to not start a war with Iran in his final 15 days in office. It’s hard to tell whether his administration is making intentional moves or simply displaying incompetence. Either way, they are playing a dangerous game.

What was supposed to be a celebratory day has become a constitutional crisis. The Senate GOP is making an unconstitutional attempt to refuse the seating of my colleague, @SenatorBrewster. He was rightfully elected, his election was certified, and he is present to take his seat.

The @PASenateGOP is holding a public hearing tomorrow with Rudy Giuliani to discuss "2020 election issues." The constant dripping of misinformation has to stop. As Rudy tucks in for tomorrow, remember the Trump team is 1-36 in court.
