When Λ–Λ̄ pairs form close together, they show near-perfect spin correlation, exactly what’s expected from entangled quark–antiquark pairs in the QCD vacuum. When formed farther apart, that correlation disappears. Meaning: Some particles didn’t come from the protons at all… They came from virtual quark pairs in empty space that gained energy and became real matter 👀 This is one of the clearest experimental evidences that the quantum vacuum is not empty, but can actively generate particles under extreme energy.
