I raised this point earlier, but unfortunately, no one listened. Instead, most responses I got were filled with insults and abuse. What @davido did at the World Cup opening ceremony was totally unacceptable and wrong. He used that global platform to disgrace and demarket Nigeria. You can now see that even people from the North have come out strongly to condemn his actions. Burna Boy also performed at the ceremony, yet he represented Nigeria with dignity and did not embarrass the country on the world stage. It was only Davido who chose to go there and portray Nigeria negatively. I believe he will eventually regret his actions and issue an apology, but by then, it will be too late. I rise!

Today, I received the comprehensive report of the Independent Investigative Panel on alleged corruption, abuse of power, torture, cruel, inhumane, and degrading treatment against the Nigerian Correctional Service. The committee, chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr Magdalene Ajani, completed this huge task after eighteen months. This milestone marks a critical step forward following the inauguration of the panel in November 2024. The findings will serve as a strong foundation for transforming our correctional facilities from mere places of incarceration into true centres of rehabilitation, reformation, restoration, and reintegration. The rate of recidivism has drastically declined from 11,616 inmates in 2023 to 1,382 inmates in 2025, due to intentional rehabilitation efforts. Currently, 62 inmates are pursuing postgraduate studies, 261 are undertaking undergraduate programmes, 1,125 are in ongoing studies, and 9,582 others are participating in non-formal vocational training in various skills. As I stated in my address, the essence of a correctional service must be transformational and corrective, ensuring compliance with the law while protecting society and restoring hope. As a government, we are committed to ensuring that no Nigerian, whether free or in custody, is left behind. We will move aggressively from this report to a robust implementation strategy, supported by effective monitoring and evaluation frameworks that will deliver lasting change. Our goal is clear. Never again should our correctional centres be associated with dehumanisation, corruption, or discrimination. They must become places where lives are rebuilt and inmates are prepared as valuable assets for the growth and development of our dear nation.

Pastor Adeboye Did Not Protest Against President Goodluck Jonathan’s Government A false narrative has been circulating online, accompanied by a photograph of Pastor E.A. Adeboye holding a placard during a public walk. The image has repeatedly been misrepresented as evidence that Pastor Adeboye led or participated in a protest against the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. This claim is FALSE. The photograph in question was taken during a peaceful nationwide walk held in response to a directive issued by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) during the administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari. Churches across Nigeria were instructed to hold peaceful walks after service, calling attention to the persistent killings of Christians and urging the government to take decisive action to protect lives. The walk in Ebute Metta, where Pastor Adeboye participated, was part of that nationwide exercise. It was neither organized against President Goodluck Jonathan nor connected in any way to his administration. Ironically, despite the significant media presence at the event when it took place, some of the same photographs have years later been recycled and falsely presented as evidence of a protest against a completely different government. It is important to note that Pastor Adeboye’s message during the walk was clear: all lives matter to God. His placard emphasized the value of every human life, regardless of religious affiliation. The call was for the protection of innocent Nigerians, both Christians and Muslims. Yes, Nigeria is facing enormous challenges, and citizens have every right to desire solutions. However, the growing demand that Pastor Adeboye should “command” the President or the First Lady on how to run the affairs of the nation is both unrealistic and unreasonable. Pastor Adeboye is a clergyman, not the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Nevertheless, he has not remained silent. During the November 2025 Holy Ghost Service, Pastor Adeboye publicly offered counsel to the President of Nigeria regarding the worsening security situation and the continued killing of innocent citizens by terrorists. He warned that urgent action was necessary before foreign powers found justification to intervene in Nigeria under the guise of combating terrorism. He further advised that security chiefs should be given a clear ultimatum to decisively address the menace or vacate their positions. In his words: “When they eliminate the terrorists, ask them to eliminate their sponsors too.” At 84 years old, Pastor Adeboye continues to provide spiritual leadership, moral counsel, and national guidance within the limits of his office as a minister of the Gospel. For the avoidance of doubt: • Pastor Adeboye cannot command the President or the First Lady on how to govern Nigeria. • Pastor Adeboye and RCCG are not responsible for the current challenges facing the nation. • RCCG is not a political party. • Pastor Adeboye does not hold political office and was not elected into government. • RCCG is not the religious arm of any political party in Nigeria. Facts matter. Context matters. Truth matters. Before sharing claims about Pastor E.A. Adeboye or The Redeemed Christian Church of God, verify them through RCCG’s official communication channels. Follow @rccg_pr for accurate information and official statements.

I'm forever grateful for your kindness and support. 🙏🏽 I believe God will come through for me and send help my way to clear the remaining loan. 🙏🏽

@Jojooflele_ What still doesn’t make sense is putting NGO funds into an investment scheme. The primary purpose of such donations is to help people immediately or within a reasonable timeframe, not to tie the money down in investments while beneficiaries continue to suffer.

How come the NGO fund is remaining only 60Million Naira? What has VDM achieved with the money contributed? Those are the new narratives, even in the midst of the ongoing insecurity situation in Oyo State. Even the blind can see, and the deaf can hear what VDM has done with the NGO money a lot of them I might not be able to list out here. 1. First of all, he invested 100 million into Treasury Bills. (Legally) 2. Built a school from scratch in Lugbe Abuja. (2block class room, fully built) 3. Dug a solar powered borehole in a community in Akwai-Abom. 4. Dug a solar powered borehole in a community in KOgi State. 5. University of Jos Water Project 6. Labake Shangom Gombe State solar powered Water Project 7. Renovation of the teachers and student block in FCT 8. Ivory Coast Trafficked girls: N20 million donated to Naptip 9. 2 other water project’s ongoing and will be published on the Mvoi instagram handle. I lost count. Drop more in the comment. If they asked you what he’s done with the NGO money, reply them with this few. If every other NGO can be transparent as VDM NGO erhn, let me not say any. This is not una regular amuneke project, ooo Go and verify according to PO.

BEFORE YOU WILL SAY TINUBU WANTS TO BRIBE YOU TO VOTE FOR HIM, UNDERSTAND HIS REASONS. The federal government has invited young Nigerians to apply for a ₦22,500 monthly stipend plus free training. Yes...he knows that some of you will still collect and still not vote for him. He knows. So he's not making this decision to bribe you. Many people are angry about the reforms of the last two years. And honestly, the pain is real. Fuel subsidy removal increased transportation costs. The naira devaluation pushed up prices of food, rent, cars, school fees and almost everything else. But what many people ignore is that reforms without cushioning programs can destroy social stability completely. This is why the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been rolling out multiple intervention programs targeted at young Nigerians, students, households and small businesses. Since 2023: - States received increased FAAC allocations after subsidy removal. - Student loan programs were launched. - Consumer credit initiatives were introduced. - Cash transfer programs expanded skills acquisition and youth empowerment programs increased. - Local government allocations rose significantly after Supreme Court financial autonomy rulings. Now another program is offering ₦22,500 monthly support alongside free training. People underestimate the importance of skills during economic transitions. Countries that survived difficult reforms usually invested heavily in: - Human capital - Entrepreneurship - Vocational training - Youth employment When India liberalized its economy in the 1990s, millions initially struggled. But long-term investments in technology and skills later created one of the world’s biggest middle classes. When Indonesia removed major fuel subsidies, there was hardship too. But the government expanded social intervention programs to reduce the shock. Nigeria is trying to reform an economy that spent decades depending heavily on fuel subsidies, imports and oil revenue while neglecting productivity. That transition was never going to be painless. But the bigger question is: Can Nigeria use this painful period to build a more productive generation? The young people who survive this era may become one of the most economically adaptive generations in Nigeria’s history. This is the mind of the government in rolling out this project. It's not to get you to vote for him but to make you financially stable with monthly cash as skills. Instead of insulting the president, see the vision. While he invests heavily in infrastructure preparing for the $1 trillion economy, he's also preparing the young people to have the skills needed to survive in the economy. Get ready.
