Phil Weiser sued Trump over 60 times. It cost tax payers over 600,000$. Instead of actually protecting us the consumer he protected non Americans. RFK Jr puts the measles hysteria to bed. “This has become a talking point for Democrats that somehow I caused the measles epidemic. The measles epidemic started in January 2025 - before I came into office.” “Most of the people affected are over the age of 5 years old, meaning their decision to not vaccinate predated my appointment to this office. We had about 2,200 measles cases last year and we had 1,700 this year. This is not unique to the United States. This is a global outbreak. Mexico had 3x the number of measles cases than we did. We did better than any other country in the world at controlling the epidemic. Mexico has 3x the number and it has 1/3 of the population. Canada has twice the number and it has 1/8 of our population. Europe had 33,000 cases in the last year and a 127,000 the year before and they have one half of our population. So the problem is not me.”

Tomorrow, RFK Jr. is back before the Senate to answer for the dangerous conspiracy theories he’s pushed from the highest seat in American public health. His own testimony made clear he was unfit for this role from the start. He should never have been confirmed.

I despise this argument. The lie is that kids “need” junk food to be “happy” — and that taxpayers are obligated to provide the food that destroys their health.

@SenatorHick Trust in PH was ruined long ago with decade of failed policies. If you’d listen to your constituents, you’d know RFK jr is bringing it back! The US spends the most $ of any industrialized nation, & we have the highest rates of preventable chronic disease.

@swd2 The fact that you (and our society in general) equate “happiness” with empty calories, sugar and childhood chronic disease is what’s wrong with this country.

As of today, Florida SNAP recipients can’t buy soda or candy because God forbid we allow a single mom and her kids a few moments of happiness at the end of the day. 😡

Hypothetically…….. I’m being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in. If I bought my property outright for $60,000 in 2009 Now the county says it’s worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice. This needs to be on everyone’s mind✔️
