@allenanalysis Social security is a garbage program. It's betting you pass away before collecting. It's an entitlement which means the payout owed should scale by the income taxed. The government is capping it's future liabilities. Or, we could just call it what it is - theft.

MURRAY: Under $184k pays 12.4% Social Security tax? DAHL: Yes. MURRAY: $1M? DAHL: 2.2%. So: Workers: 12.4% Millionaires: 2.2% Billionaires: effectively near zero Same system. Different rules. We need a new Congress.

This is false. The Social Security payroll tax (the 6.2% employee share, matched by employers for a combined 12.4%) has an income cap (also called the wage base or taxable maximum), not a deduction. How the cap works - In 2026, only the first $184,500 of your wages or self-employment income is subject to the Social Security portion of FICA/SECA taxes. - Earnings above $184,500 are not taxed for Social Security purposes. That's why someone earning $1 million pays the same maximum Social Security tax ($11,439 employee share) as someone earning exactly $184,500. - This cap is adjusted annually based on the national average wage index and has risen from $176,100 in 2025 to $184,500 in 2026. Put in place by: In short: The foundational system, including the cap, was a New Deal Democratic initiative passed by a Democratic Congress and signed by a Democratic president.

Grant Cardone explains how Tesla’s Optimus robot will CRASH gold prices “Wait until we have 8 million or 8 billion Optimus robots and gold is at $10,000. These robots won’t be cleaning kitchens they’ll be digging into the earth and searching for gold 24/7, 365 days a year” “We haven’t explored 91% of our oceans yet. These robots don’t need oxygen, as long as they have energy, they’ll be digging everywhere and finding endless amounts of gold and other precious metals”

This is grossly misleading. Tesla clearly shows in its 10-K that as of Dec 31, 2025, it had $3.56B of federal net operating loss carry-forwards available to offset future taxable income, which stems from Tesla being unprofitable for most of its 22 year history. Cherry-picking data, like what Senator Warren is doing, is simply dishonest. 10-K filing (page 87): ir.tesla.com/_flysystem/s3/…

@stats_feed My daughter scored a 130 when tested in Kindergarten and has been in gifted, honors and extended learning programs ever since. Flooding the country with third world immigrants over the last 30 years probably caused this negative impact.

Neuroscientist study reveals that Gen Z has become the first generation to be less intelligent than its predecessor, the Millennials. For the first time in 100 years, young people are scoring lower than their parents on IQ tests and core skills like memory, reading, and focus. This is happening mainly in the US and Europe. The main cause appears to be excessive screen time and digital device use, particularly in schools and social settings. While some suggest Gen Z is just developing different skills, research shows actual declines in fundamental problem-solving abilities.

As Republicans complain about Virginia restricting redistricting, a reminder that Democrats tried to enact a national ban on partisan gerrymandering. Every single Republican voted no.

Why is there a hiring recession with the Dow at 50k and GDP growth so strong? There are 3 key reasons: 1) WH policy on tariffs, immigration and DOGE 2) Many firms overhired in 2022/2023. They're slimming down now 3) AI Smart people give these 3 factors different weights. I laid out my thinking this week in a @voxdotcom piece: vox.com/the-highlight/… 60% due to WH policies. Tariffs and DOGE lowered DEMAND for workers. Immigration lowered SUPPLY. 30% correction for overhiring. [Lower Demand] 10% AI [Lower Demand...not b/c AI is doing the job, but b/c firms are spending so much $$$ on AI that they have less for anything else, including workers] #jobs #economy #stocks #hiring

It was and it was ruled unconstitutional and issued an injunction. They’re continuing with it anyway. politico.com/news/2026/01/2… They failed to follow their own process during a special session. So our new AG is taking it to appeals court while the democrats in the state continue on.

@mattmfm @Phantom2Phlyer And it was not a state vote. This was federal. But the state of VA said with Dems and republicans that we would do it. 5 years ago. We codified it into our constitution. One party here decided to defecate on that vote

A state that just had a Republican Governor less than a month ago will now only have 1 out of 11 Congressional seats held by a Republican after Democrat gerrymandering. Every red state needs to fight fire with fire. Wake up to the war we’re in.
Townhall.com@townhallcom

VA Gov. Spanberger (D) laughs, smiles, and signs the redistricting bill that will disenfranchise about 48% of Republican-leaning voters by packing them into one district. It proposes a 10-1 Democratic advantage. Great stuff, Virginia.

Neo, you fucking boob, go look at blue state R/D voting percentages and compare it with their congressional delegation makeups. Democrats have been ruthlessly gaming congressional maps for decades, but get away with it because they have a captive media and republicans have been too timid to fight.

I'm so sick of Democrats falsely claiming what Virginia is doing is somehow a response to Texas. Under the new Texas map Democrats can win 29% of seats with 40% of vote. Under the Democrats Virginia map Republicans can 9% of seats with 49% of the vote. They are not the same.

Republicans in Indiana took the "high road" and didn’t redraw 2 Democratic seats in a state that Trump won by +19 pts. Democrats in Virginia took power and are immediately eliminating 4 Republican seats in a state Kamala barely won by +5 pts. There’s a powerful lesson here.
Dave Wasserman@Redistrict

NEW: Virginia Dems’ proposed congressional map would almost surely torpedo four GOP seats, converting delegation from 6D-5R to 10D-1R this fall. Still faces several hurdles to passage.

America has too few doctors. 18 states have figured out a solution- they let experienced, foreign-trained doctors treat American patients. It's bipartisan. It works in Canada + the UK. Voters overwhelmingly support it. More states should do this. (link in replies)
