This comes less than 24 hours after she was spotted with the leadership of Palestine House, those who honor fallen Hamas members. Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow hates the Jewish community and rather seen them run out of her city.

My latest, on Canadian conservatives’ patriotism problem theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

@MPelletierCIO I agree Martin, just got back from Nelson BC, Lake Louise and Canmore visit. Ourageouly expensive. Could not believe how much we spent. Two places didn't even have a/c and they were 750 night. Beautiful country but Canada is very expensive.

It is lovely to know that plenty of older Conservatives i respect and thought respected me are telling me I'm not welcome and need to leave politics.

@RobSilver Talk baseball bud.

What a bizarre way to think. The vast majority of Canadians understand that Trump is a genuine menace to the country, and is likely to break any deal he makes, because that’s clear as day if you have a grasp of the incredibly obvious reality

"They need us to survive. Without us, there’s no way they can survive." President Trump doubles down on Canada's dependence on the U.S.

Trump just hit Canada with a new round of 50% tariffs. The immediate effect: higher prices for Americans buying Canadian goods. The bigger story: Trump has now shown that even goods protected by his own trade deal aren’t necessarily protected anymore. What happens when trade agreements stop feeling like agreements? newsletter.platypuseconomics.com/p/why-trumps-n…

The good folks at National Bank do fantastic work on the Canadian economy. Here's another banger! "While a 50% tariff is severe, it would apply to only ~5% of U.S. imports from Canada. With 85% of Canada-U.S. trade registered under the USMCA over the last year, most imports would remain tariff-free even if these Section 338 levies are implemented. So, despite the jarring 50% figure, Canada's overall tariff rate would rise modestly, from ~5% to just over ~7.5%."

CANADIANS - Carney is happily smiling as he travels to the United States for the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey 🇺🇸 This is your message that it’s okay, and actually quite FUN & amazing to travel to the United States. Even your PM is doing it 😅

Throwing around accusations of racism every time someone disagrees with an immigration policy is intellectually lazy. Ukrainians came to Canada under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET). It was not a refugee program. It was a temporary emergency visa created after a sovereign democracy was invaded by Russia. Over 800,000 applications were approved, and those who arrived were granted temporary status, not permanent residence. Canada has also created special humanitarian pathways for Afghans, Hong Kong residents, Sudanese, Venezuelans and Gazans. Different conflicts have resulted in different programs with different eligibility criteria. That’s immigration policy—not racism. And if your argument is that Canada discriminates against Indians because of race, the facts completely undermine your claim. Indians are Canada’s largest source of permanent immigrants. No other nationality has benefited more from Canada’s immigration system over the past decade. Let’s remember that India is the world’s largest democracy and one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, not a helpless nation in need of permanent resettlement in Canada. If you’re going to make that claim, bring evidence, not innuendo.
