@DaneMooreNBA If we treat Rudy's TOs as missed FGs, he would still be shooting 56% on FGs. Also, all players have some TOs, so if you counted 1/2 of his TOs as missed shots, he would be shooting 63% on FGs. Also, most of his TOs go out of bounds & are dead ball turnovers. Not that bad.

Thought this was an informative answer when Chris Finch was asked about the possessions where Rudy Gobert drops catchable passes and how his players handle those possessions. "They know not to look to me for sympathy if Rudy drops one of their passes, because sometimes he's going to. I tell them to keep throwing em. We have to. It pays off more than not... I'll take some of those turnovers if we're trying to make the right play."

@JonKrawczynski I wonder about Rudy too, even though he was great last night. Last year, Rudy, Dante and Randle all got time off in the middle of the season due to injury. I wonder if it would have helped this year, but the best ability is availability

@DerekESullivan I think Donte just had a bad game. But it is something I’ve been thinking about with Julius, for sure, and a little with Jaden. Julius clearly benefited from that time off last season.

Naz is a proud dude. He hates sitting out and almost never does. But if ever there were a night, this might be it

@TimGarrisonMN Not to mention I was driving around last night and had to listen to the radio. The Timberwolves channel on I Heart was a great idea, and Horton only doing radio is perfect. Horton is fine on TV, but the simulcasts sucks for the listener.

@mylawyerabeast @Perrywinkle1267 There are definitely valid criticisms. Lack of player development while ignoring Ant, Naz and Jaden is tough, in my opinion. I'm eager to see how Rob does, but not one other young guy who was here and left has done anything to make the Wolves look bad.

@jrborman13 Honestly Kyle has been having a good season when he got floor time on two tanking teams. Considering those teams didn’t play him because he was a winning player says all you need to know.

Buyouts tend to have very little -- if any -- impact on the floor. But the Wolves outside of McDaniels don't have another wing they can trust to defend bigger, more physical ball-handlers (Luka, KD, Kawhi, LeBron, Gordon, Avdija) let alone a guy who can play the 5 defensively next to Naz. I would not be surprised one bit if Chris Finch turns to Slow-Mo even for fringe rotation minutes over TJ Shannon because of it.
