@SeeRacists @CallMeTemple Here's hoping his life in prison is short and painful. 🥂
English

Father r*ped his 11-month-old
daughter and t*rtured her breaking multiple bones in her arms, legs, ribs and clavicle, causing traumatic brain injury, internal bleeding and extensive bruising.
The infant was found unresponsive at the Red Roof Inn
Jason Santos, 38, of New York, pled guilty in Summit County, Ohio.
Santos is facing a sentence of life in prison. He is set for sentencing on April 21.

@LarrySchweikart Great movie, even better book.

@TheDemocrats First, tell us why you need more money.

@DavidJHarrisJr Conservatives give more to charity than liberals. 🤔

Negresses are one of the most corrupt and racially biased creatures. Black judges and black juries rule for their own kind and against White men.
Taya@travelingflying
A juror from the O.J. Simpson trial said that about 90% of the jury thought O.J. was guilty but still voted to acquit him as payback against White people.

@BayeDrew This is great advice. I've recently discovered that low volume isn't enough for me. Reducing frequency has been a game changer for me.
English

Train as intensely as you are capable of and reduce your volume and frequency to avoid overtraining, instead of assuming you need some volume and frequency and reducing your intensity to handle it.
To paraphrase Dorian Yates, most trainees would get much better results if they did half as much exercise, half as often, but twice as hard.

@Hitchslap1 @ItIsHoeMath Do the math: Whites are 60% of Americans at 106. The average black IQ is 85 and they are 13% of the population. Hispanics are about 20% of the population at 93. Let’s assume no other ethnic group can impact.
.6 x 106 + .13 x 85 + . 2*93. = 93.25 divide by the sum (0.93) = 100IQ.

@DerrickEvans4WV This doesn't make sense... If it's an organ donor, they'd want to keep the heart going to keep the organs vital. If I had to guess, this situation is a family member made the patient DNR and the other family members disagreed or were unaware.

@fandompulse Project Hail Mary pushed global warming a little hard, but to be fair, it was a very small section of the book.
English

Project Hail Mary writer Andy Weir on social commentary in books:
"I dislike social commentary. Like… I really hate it. When I’m reading a book, I just want to be entertained, not preached at by the author. Plus, it ruins the wonder of the story if I know the author has a political or social axe to grind. I no longer speculate about all possible outcomes of the story because I know for a fact that the universe of that book will conspire to ensure that the author’s political agenda is validated. I hate that."
"I put no politics or social commentary into my stories at all. Anyone who thinks they see something like that is reading it in on their own. I have no point to make, and I’m not trying to affect the reader’s opinion on anything. My sole job is to entertain, and I stick to that."
"To that end, I also don’t talk about my personal political opinions publicly. I don’t want readers to even know, honestly. I don’t want that in the back of their minds as they read my stuff."
Is this why he has the #1 sci-fi movie in decades?

@thehealthb0t @iluminatibot Liberals: the Native Americans used all the parts of the animal. 😍
Also liberals: Ewwa, gelatin comes from pig skin?!? 😱
English

@SamaHoole I've started doing a lot less and I swear, I'm seeing better results now vs I was doing higher volume, more frequent workouts while using steroids.

The role of sleep and nutrition in the hypertrophy process is vastly overstated.⠀
⠀
Not completely. You can absolutely sabotage your growth by sleeping three hours a night and eating like a committed pacifist. Nobody is disputing that.⠀
⠀
But the idea that you need to optimise beyond a healthy, self-respecting human baseline, that blackout curtains and protein timing and sleep tracking apps and a meal prep schedule calibrated to the gram will unlock some extra tier of growth that a normal person sleeping normally and eating normally cannot access, is an industry talking point dressed up as physiology.⠀
⠀
If you are not recovering session to session, the suspects are in the gym, not the bedroom.⠀
⠀
- Too much volume.⠀
- Less than two rest days a week.⠀
- Lengthened position movements that torch the muscle at its longest point.⠀
- Slow eccentrics, which cause extraordinary amounts of muscle damage for the stimulus they produce.⠀
- Drop sets.⠀
- Supersets.⠀
- Short rest periods that mean your next set starts before your last set has finished paying off.⠀
- Training to absolute failure consistently, which is a fast way to dig a recovery hole you are not equipped to climb out of.⠀
⠀
Pull back on those and you will make more progress than you would by mastering your sleep hygiene protocol.⠀
⠀
The bedroom is not where the problem lives.⠀
⠀
The gym is where the problem lives.⠀
⠀
Go back in. Do less. Rest longer. Get more.
