My limited understanding of self defense law: Legally, not self defense. Rationally, why would you even bother with someone that has a gun out on you. @theficouple Some things yes. It’s inevitable. I do remember paying 1.08 for gas in 2000 then in 2005 paying nearly 2.35. Supply and demand being stretched thin on top of inflation isnt good.

Yes before that there were 3 belts. Lennox was the last one to hold all 3. He was the lineal champ. Before that there were 2 belts. Before that 1 belt. If the current lineal champ either A: beat the current lineal champ or B: lineal champ retired and new champ held all belts then became a new lineage. Again the "top 1 & 2" only makes sense if it the same across all sanctioning bodies. Im willing to bet its not the same right now. You cant just arbitrarily say "name here" is the new lineal champ because he beat "name here" if the second name wasnt a lineal champ to start with. Thats not a lineage, its just a win.

@DeuceMS @ChrisStraitBox @DanRafael1 Dude. Uysk was the first 4 belt Champion in Heavyweight history. Lineal was created because of the confusion with multiple belts and bs politics involved. We’ve had 4 fighters in all weight classes do that in history

If it only took the top two guys there could be 4 different lineal champs at once, possibly. Thats not a lineage, thats a champion.

Nether Kiltschko beat Lewis. So the last Lineal champ was Lewis until Usyk became undisputed and started a new lineage. If Usyk wins his last fight, that lineage is over and someone will have to be undisputed again to start a new one. Also means, Fury was never lineal champ...

@ChrisStraitBox @DanRafael1 At some stage you will be correct and a new lineage will have to be created. However there was a break between Lewis and Klitschko so there’s precedent for some interpretation here.

Understood. I was going on the idea that if Usyk just retired today or remains unbeaten in his last fight. And was more directing it at the above comment by CSBoxing just arbitrarily making Agit or Moses the new lineal just because. But you are right, if who ever(Vorhoven most likely) fights Usyk last and beats him, they would be the new lineal.

@ChrisStraitBox @DanRafael1 The new lineage only starts when the new undisputed is crowned. There can be unified. There can be champs. But not lineal until u disputed.

@DanRafael1 As far as I’m concerned, if Kabayel and Itauma fight each other, that is a new lineage. I love Usyk, but there has been some ducking the last couple years. Which means his claim to lineal should not last much longer if he doesn’t fight either one of those two.
