I have found people pay far too much attention to their cattle. I’m guilty as charged but the best returning cattle are the ones you rarely see. It will surprise you how quickly you get to a herd that sustains itself if you just leave them alone. Culling happens naturally.

@KenSchaus @WeCover_Steel How often do you clean bedding out? Are the building fairly maintenance free? Thinking a building like that would be a good way to feed some cattle for sure

@jetpackclub2 @KenSchaus Ration looks hot but actually oats were only 28lbs due to drought couple years ago,and wheat silage was actually silage bales mixed in tmr.

@KenSchaus They brought more than the set before them that had no implants and they were on a pretty hot ration.

@DevilHogg It’s a 535-96 tellehandler, the bucket is really heavy and high capacity grapple is awesome for manure and bales I can load spreaders really fast, it’s really heavy like 2700 lbs but it doesn’t have a big capacity for things like dirt or snow it’s a Farerly “short” bucket

Dad and I can’t remember where we took the skid loader grapple off a couple months ago, now we’ve gotta find it under a foot of snow, it’s like a retarded farmer Easter egg hunt

Help! '22Case 580. Random problem. Starter doesnt respond when attempting to start. Only way to get it running is to jump solenoid at Starter. We had it shop twice and starts consistently. So we can't diagnose the problem. Any ideas component or connection that could be failing?

On the take, after some ideas/suggestions of how to put a little extension on end of auger to reach centre of chaser. Thanks in advance.

What’s everyone at for yardage & processing fee on cattle?…I’ve done some big improvements this year & looking at raising prices some…currently at $2 head processing & just went to .40 on yardage this fall.

@farmerdan97 Have had our 2013 S670s for 8 season now. Good combines havent had any big problems with them thing called regular maintaining them goes a long way.

Fall rye question. We grazed this hard and now the herd has moved on. I'd like to spray it and let the rye come back. How the heck do you stage it after a hard graze? Just spray?

This just proves nobody does their homework before an auction, if whomever bought this had half a brain they would know you could buy a brand new one for around 10k less, plus they still have to pay RB fees on top of this purchase price Just more proof guys are idiots

@605ranchy Best investment we did as well. Cut our feed time down by 3 hrs. We thought would be a bitch in spring time as well, but honestly isn't that much of a difference from our old one.

I threatened to buy a bigger feed wagon a few months ago….figured you only live once…one man show with all drive in pens was taking the majority of the day, but not no more…1425 cubic feet & 390hp Fendt will feed some cattle!

@colbert_marty That's the worst had white wheat yeilding 95bus/acre while harvesting got hail and rain did 5bus/acre after could see more on ground from cab than coming in hopper on combine.. Best of luck
