I hope we all realize that, for as cool as it is to see an indie 3D fighter, R.U.S.H.'s only purpose is serving as a protest by the veterans against the Tekken developers. That's all well and good, but as soon as Bandai announces a Tekken Tag 2 remaster, R.U.S.H. will disappear.

Jp doesn't have a single weakness. He is one of the most broken characters in all of fighting games from the last 10 years. He has a target combo from a plus on block button that leads to combo which has a mixup built in that is also cancellable into a checkmate situation/mixup

@AlexCorgi1 @CapSilverFox Most other fighting games would die for these numbers and this doesn’t include console. 6,000 ish on steam was about the peak any 1v1 fighting game was doing before sf6

That being said, content creators will not stop since they like Tekken, their core audience is Tekken, they all want Tekken, and by God, they will have Tekken.

Don’t know how most people don’t see it, but SF6 is just a worse SFV. They pretty much doubled down on what made the previous game so horrendous. Aside from the netcode

@TippyDoodlin @_royszn_ Exactly. Not to mention for some reason people are equating ONE mechanic from one game to an entire system of mechanics in Tekken 8.
It’s also weird that people ask to remove heat burst since that’s about the only mechanic that has defensive properties to it

I’m not defending the state of T8 but I need people to understand how unreasonable it is for the dev team to remove Heat right now. The best we could pray for an overhaul.

@_royszn_ If you can remove heat you can remove the entire drive system from sf6 and Capcom isn’t removing the drive system

@ElChakotay @RamsaurFGC @jav1ts Agree. Removing prox block in 6 is most likely due to how it would make drive rush normals impossible to walk backwards against. In other games it’s generally fine to have prox block on things

@RamsaurFGC @jav1ts If they didn't have this, walking back would be really strong as a defensive option. A lot of moves would be bad without this which is why they have it in. I won't argue about it since I don't do that on here but I will just say to each their own on this one and call it a day 👍🏾

I have been fighting a lot of Manon's since this nerf and I think it's a bit overkill. I know Manon in neutral is annoying but this is crazy

Another move that had their frame 2 proximity block adjusted is Manon's sthk. A little confused on why Capcom adjusted some but allowed others to remain, like Alex's sthp and sthks. Full animations on sf6frames.com #スト6 #SF6 #StreetFighter6 #SF6_Manon

@ElChakotay I didn’t even know Manon had a large prox range on her sHK. Feels weird to remove since it’s not plus on block and could still be whiff punished. Don’t know why Capcom did this tbh

@ACHILLESSX3 @UkyMitsu I agree. The hyper focus on Korean small Tekken and KBDing has regulated characters that don’t play as much small Tekken as Xiaoyu, Yoshi and bears to gimmick characters. In Tekken 8 season you were finally seeing these characters in top spots of tournaments

@UkyMitsu This is the first game in the series where some old characters who weren't even competitive for casual play have become good enough for tournaments. Xiaoyu is the best example of what I'm talking about;

T8 is a shitmess, bandai should just be thanking us instead of acting ungrateful and not listen to us. The ONLY reason this game is still alive is the community cuz we stayed for friends or for someone even a 2nd family, not for that poo. We gather and play anyway regardless 😒

People are complaining about the TEKKEN 8 Season 3 update like the devs didn’t give y’all what you asked for. The real problem? Y’all don’t even agree with each other, what one player likes, another doesn’t like. That’s why it looks like nobody likes it.
